Before I left I was convinced that going on exchange was not something for me, and I was pretty close to stay at home. I am so glad that I left because this has been the best experience in my life. I didn’t have any high expectations about Iceland, but what a be- autiful country. I was really surprised. I met so many great people and we went on so many amazing trips. I would highly recommend you to go to Iceland, you will have the time of your life. Just imagine going home from a night out, and the northern lights are above your head. Pure magic! Rikke, Reykjavik University, Iceland My choice of going on exchange to India and MDI have to be one of my best decisions I have ever made. India is a fantastic country, and four months in India was far away from enough time. I got an experience I will never forget. To be a student in India is also an expe- rience in itself. A collaboration with Indian students meant that I had to meet for groups work at 23:00 in the evening, and not have control of what we handed in or what we were going to present. But that’s the Indian way. During my stay I were able to travel a lot, which made it a very fun and social four months. Ørjan, MDI, India To sum up, there has been one of the most exiting months of my life. You get to know so many people from different places of the world. Aston University is a great school with good professors and very good facilities. Joining the Women’s Football Team was the funniest experience with so many wonderful moments. I am so thankful for all the people I have met, the cultural experiences and the language improvement during the semester. I recommend studying abroad if you have the chance, I will bear the memories in mind for the rest of my life. Ane, Aston University, UK Going abroad was the best decision that I have taken in my life. I made new friends from all over the world and got the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful places in Asia. From an academic perspective, I feel I chose a school that challenged me in different ways than what I was used to at BI.. What I bene- fited most of this semester is the social and cultural experience in Singapore. I had to get out from my comfort zone and try to adopt to a new culture and language, which will defini- tely count positive in my future Arya, SMU, Singapore Exchange in Hong Kong has really been a great experience. We have met a lot of great people from all over the world, experienced new cultures, tried food we never thought we would eat, and we have challenged ourselves in a world class business school. Asian culture is different from the European and you will have to adapt and approach the stay with an open mind set. All things considered, we have had a wonderful time here. Students from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, China I have made new friends and connecti- ons all over the world which certainly will be valuable in the future, both for friendship and career-related activities. Sander, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia My semester in Singapore has by far been my most valuable in terms of learning and experiences. I made friends who I know I will keep in touch with, and I have memories that I will never forget. Andreas, SMU, Singapore I’m really glad that I chose to study a se- mester abroad. It is without a doubt one of the greatest experiences in life so far. I have improved my German language skills, which I think will be very useful in my future carrier. Also, the experience with having all classes and exams in English is also a very good trai- ning for further studies and work. I think that the biggest and most important experience from the semester abroad, is the different cultures and the people I’ve met. All in all, a highly recommended experience. Erik, University of Mannheim, Germany This semester has been very educatio- nal in terms of academic development, soft skills development, social skills, and cultural understanding. Interacting with people from all over the world was probably the highlight of my stay. It was a lot more fun going to class knowing that you actually get to use the the- ory you have studied through the practical examples and homework questions. It was an experience I don’t regret and will not forget! Kristine, University of Austin, Texas I warmly recommend going abroad as an exchange student. It is such a good experi- ence to have. Amsterdam is a city with many different nationalities and opportunities. It was very exciting to be part of an international environment where it was possible to expe- rience new things every day. Even though the academics were challenging I do not re- gret going there, because I believe it is a wise choice for future career possibilities.
