executives from member organizations to interact with prominent thought leaders in a process designed to enhance their business, strategic and leadership skills. This environment builds and enhances peer relationships across member organizations. Participants are encouraged to bring guests and arrive over the weekend to participate in a variety of hosted social activities.

we are living in the midst of unprecedented demographic, economic and social changes that impact nearly every aspect of our personal and professional lives. increasing longevity and insufficient savings mean that older workers will be working longer and shrinking their retirement. mid-career workers are trying to reboot their enthusiasm for a longer and more demanding worklife as they simultaneously try to fund their future retirement. young workers are struggling to enter the workforce during tough economic times. what makes each of the four working generations tick – and perform at their best? what are they looking to get from – and give to – their jobs? how will they measure success in this new era? Ken dychtwald will explore these issues while showing how to retain and attract valuable talent and enhance productivity through programs such as: creative use of flexible work arrangements, innovative learning and mentoring opportunities, sabbaticals, retraining, re-careering, flex-retirement and creative compensation and benefits programs.

once again, an accumulation of shifts in our world (i.e. technology, economy, social media, consumer demands etc.) have created both new opportunities and challenges in how corporations acquire, maintain and relate to customers. Jim champy will provide a provocative and insightful overview of these changing perspectives.

Problem is, these challenges lie outside the performance envelope of the “management model” that currently predominates in most companies. what’s needed is a revolution in how our companies are led, managed and organized—and information technology will be the catalyst. gary hamel will lay out a blueprint for management 2.0, and identify the ways in which you can use the power of the social web to start a management revolution in your company.

corporations have invested heavily in implementing enterprise resource Planning (erP) and other forms of enterprise systems (es). erP and es were steps ahead in automated process performance but they are now major steps behind in the need for simpler, more flexible, more plug-and-play, and more useable business environments. colby Thames will explore the options and challenges of leveraging and supplementing them as part of a more flexible and service oriented computing environment.

cyber security threats have continued to evolve and become increasingly more sophisticated. as these attacks become more advanced and persistent, organizations are busy focusing on mitigation, control, diversion and remediation at the expense of being more proactive and instituting preventive measures. successfully managing your company’s security requires a holistic, well-conceived strategic plan. rachel bryan will provide an overview of best practices and solutions that can help your organization establish an effective security strategy capable of adapting as new security challenges arise.
