Fabric and Supplies Needed
- Read through all of the instructions before beginning.- All of the seam allowances are 1/4” unless otherwise noted.- Press seam allowances open unless otherwise noted.- Width of fabric (WOF) is equal to at least 42” wide.- Right sides together has been abbreviated to RST.- Remember to measure twice and cut once!
From Fabric A, cut:- Eight 5” x length of fabric strips. Using a 9-12” square ruler, subcut forty-eight isosceles triangles, each 7” on two sides.

Tip: A variety of fabric combinations are used in this quilt. Organize your fabrics for sewing by stacking the appropriate number of each color in labeled block piles fi rst, then sew.
To create the block, sew two triangles together along a long side, creating a half-square triangle (HST). Press seams open.

Square blocks to 6-1/4”, if necessary.

Lay out the quilt, following the fabric placement shown in the Quilt Assembly Diagram.
Sew together in to fourteen rows of twelve blocks each. Alternate pressing block seams
to the left and right for every other row so that row seams will nest.
Sew rows together, pressing seams open.
Assemble the Quilt
