Strictly Elvis UK 1 Newsletter No. 13 Spring 2015 Good Morning, Another year is well under way and what a start we’ve all had... the Elvis at the O2 Exhibition is proving to be a glorious success for EPE and for UK (and European judging by the many languages I hear every time I’m there) Elvis fans and now plans are afoot to replicate it in Las Vegas at the very hotel that Elvis appeared at and stayed in. Our 80th Birthday Tour was an absolute ‘blast’ with lots to see and do in Memphis and even more so for the two full coachloads of fans who travelled with the Elvis Travel Service and who had quite a few extra ‘surprises’. But that’s what we do isn’t it? For the fans, by the fans, and long may that continue. And what have we got coming up? Well with TV Antiques Celebrity and Rock’n’Roll singer (as well as Elvis nut!) Paul Hayes and his band starring at our Elvis Spring Break in Torquay (see back page advertisement) that’s bound to be another smash hit. The 38th Anniversary Tour to Tupelo, Memphis and beyond is receiving lots of interest - as is the trip to Bad Nauheim over the same August period and as for the Elvis Festival... well I don’t think we’ve ever had such a response. Bookings are flying in (as are our guests!) so if you haven’t booked yet then have a read of the brochure enclosed with this issue and then reserve your places as soon as you can. And other things? Well in conjunction with visits to the O2 we have already planned a visit to the Memphis West End Show and a 10-pin Bowling Evening will be announced shortly - by the way, best to watch our Facebook page (The Elvis Presley Travel Service/Strictly Elvis) for details of events such as these - and we are also planning to support as many regional Fan Club events as we can again this year, including a Gospel Concert in Chelmsford Cathedral organized by Elvis in Essex. I don’t get serious very often but humour me for a moment as I say that it is common knowledge in both the commercial and social world that 90% of people who participate in things come from just 10% of the members or customer base. And that’s true with us too... fortunately we have such a huge mailing list we can live with that. But it hit home when I was talking to an Elvis fan recently who, after many years (actually decades) of being a ‘lonely’ fan finally found us and had the courage to book on one of our trips – travelling alone. Or so she thought! What she (and I’m sure thousands of other fans) didn’t realize is that you are never ‘alone’ on a Strictly Elvis event or Elvis Travel Service holiday. Our Tour Managers and I make sure of that. We’re all Elvis fans and what comes with that is a camaraderie or ‘bond’ that is hard to describe yet everyone who has been on any of the trips in the last few years will tell you is there... in spadefuls. We are a ‘family’, a Strictly Elvis Family and if you are sitting at home reading this and haven’t travelled with us for awhile or been to one of our events then please do join us. You may be missing out on a whole world of Elvis fun and it could change your life. Go on, take the plunge. Just one more piece of news for you, I’m delighted to report that Lisel Simpson has joined the ‘Strictly’ staff as Editor of the Newsletter - hopefully freeing me up to help plan more events and holidays... or to go down the pub! ADVANCE INFORMATIONElvis Anniversary Tours

2016 and 2017We appreciate that for many Elvis fans the trip to

Memphis and beyond is still a lifelong dream andwith the constant (and we believe often unfair)increases in air fares it is understandable that sucha trip needs to be decided upon sometimes yearsahead and then saved for. For this reason we getalmost daily requests for details of trips coming upin one, two, three and even four years time. Of course we don’t always know, as the tripscan depend on many factors - includinghow successful the research has been intoyet another destination with a strong Elvisconnection. Each year tho’ Elvis fans will know that we

operate a guaranteed two tours to the USA,one in January to celebrate Elvis’ Birthdayand another in August to commemoratethe Anniversary of his passing. Occasionallywe will operate holidays at other times ofthe year but we know from long experiencethat fellow fans wish to be at Gracelandover those two particularly significantperiods - especially as it is only then thatEPE put on a programme of Elvis events. Both tours feature nearly a whole week inMemphis and a visit to Tupelo. Whilst theJanuary tours will sometimes incorporate anoptional extension to another (usually warm!)destination of Elvis interest, the August tour alwaysdoes - giving fans the choice of a 10-12 day tour ofTupelo and Memphis or a longer tour incorporatingother exciting places. For January 2016 for instance, after our Elvis’

Birthday Week in Memphis (incorporating a day tripto Tupelo) we are again heading to the Floridasunshine - this time to the Gulf Coast where ourdays will be spent enjoying the beach, the themeparks and the film locations for Elvis’ ‘Follow thatDream’ which was filmed just to the north ofTampa. A brochure will accompany the nextNewsletter but for advance information phone uson 01473 621 564. In August 2016 we head west from Memphis to

Las Vegas to see where Elvis ‘stole everyone’s show!’,to stay at the very hotel that Elvis stayed andperformed in and to visit the new Elvis Exhibitionthat’s a feature of the hotel. We then drive throughthe Mojave Desert via the Grand Canyon and on toglorious Palm Springs to see Elvis’ homes there andfrom where we’ll visit Burbank, Hollywood andBeverly Hills.

We haven’t yet decided on whether the Birthday tour in 2017 will have an extension but theAugust tour (for the 40th Anniversary) certainly will. For that tour we are planning to offer a two islandHawaii extension visiting the beautiful island ofKauai (staying at the Coco Palms Hotel if it is rebuiltin time) as well as Oahu, staying on fabulous Waikiki Beach.

As airlines only confirm theirair fares 11 months in advanceit will be impossible for us (or anyone) to give an accuratetour price until September

2016, however we are happy to use our longexperience of travel costs and trends to give you anestimated price and we will be doing this in aPreview Brochure which will accompany the nextNewsletter. In the meantime we already have over50 fans signed up for this holiday having paid us a£10 Refundable deposit to hold them a guaranteedplace. We’ll gladly do the same for you - just send£10 per person to Elvis Travel Service, Unit D BristolCourt, Martlesham Heath Business Park, Ipswich,Suffolk, IP5 3RY.

And 2018 and beyond?

Sorry, even we can’t think that far ahead but restassured whatever we decide to offer will be good, innovative, lots of fun and full of Elvis!

Everyone that works for StrictlyElvis UK/Elvis Travel Service knowsthat one of the reasons that peopleenjoy travelling with us is that theyget the chance to meet fabulouslike-minded travel companions andmake fantastic new friends withinthe Elvis family, so to acknowledgethis fact we’ve decided to put someof them in the spotlight. So if you’resomeone who receives theNewsletter but has yet to book aholiday here is your opportunity tofind out what sort of people travelwith us and why. To kick us off, thisedition of the newsletter featuresthe very lovely Margaret Quinn:

I believe I was 7 or 8 when I firstheard Elvis on the radio, HeartbreakHotel and All Shook Up! And wowthat was it. I was in love! It was hisvoice and the music was so different,so alive and exciting, like a shock ofelectricity from head to foot. I didn'tknow what he looked like, that wasthe next ' earth shattering'experience! Wow! My mum used totake me to see the Elvis films at thelocal cinema cos I wasn't old enoughto go on my own (she wouldn't havelet me anyway!) And when I wasgetting a bit of pocket money fordoing little jobs around the house, I'd save up to buy his latest record, even though I didn't have a recordplayer! You could go to the recordshop and ask to listen to the record ina booth even if you didn't haveenough money to buy it that day. Of course as soon as I had enoughmoney I'd buy it. Then I saw the Elvismagazine, I think it must have beenin WHSmiths and I'd buy that too. The editor was Albert Hand and itwas wonderful to read more aboutElvis and see the wonderful photos. Well that’s certainly a story I think

many readers can relate to, and oncewe’re hooked on the King there’s nogoing back! Of course one of thethings every fan wants to do is travelto Memphis and visit Elvis’ home. Forthose of us who have been luckyenough to have been the experienceis not something you can easily put

into words. Margaret’s first tripto Memphis with the ElvisTravel Service team was inAugust of 2004 quicklyfollowed by the 70th birthdaytour in 2005. A lot of the tourshave specific anniversariesattached to them andMargaret has also been luckyenough to attend the 30thanniversary tour in 2007 andthe 2009 tour that marked the40th anniversary of Elvis

signing his contract to perform at theInternational Hotel in Las Vegas! So each trip has something differentto offer the fans and it’s not difficultto see why super-fan Margaret hasbecome addicted, as do all of us thatjust can’t get enough of our King! In fact Margaret has been on fourother tours to Memphis including therecent 80th birthday tour in January. But it’s not only Memphis where

fans can meet and celebrate the lifeand music of Elvis, so where else hasMargaret been with the Elvis TravelService crew?

I've also been on the trip toGermany. The first one was when westayed in Luxembourg and thenvisited Bad Nauheim and the secondtime we stayed in Bad Nauheimduring the Elvis anniversaryweekend... I enjoyed every minute ofevery trip and feel very fortunate tohave been able to do them. I also goto the Spring Break, first it was inWeymouth and now in Torquay andit's lovely to spend time with the Elvis

Family when it's not quite as hectic! I also go to the Elvis Festival everySeptember in Great Yarmouth. I started doing the festival in 2005 I think and have been every yearsince ‘cos it's such a great week withspecial guests and the Elvis discoevery day.And for anyone still not

convinced, what does Margaret giveas her reasons for picking the ElvisTravel Service crew to travel with?

I've always travelled with DavidWade's company and wouldn't gowith any other, the trips are the best, you get looked after so well and it'slike being in a big family. EveryoneI've met feels the same and I've madeso many lovely friends. So there you have it, Margaret

certainly has had some amazingElvis experiences, and we’re verygrateful to her for taking time outfrom working, decorating andlooking after her two adorable dogs to tell us about herself andher Elvis holidays (as if any of usneed an excuse to talk aboutanything Elvis related!) and forthose readers that have beeninspired by her experiences; whatare you waiting for? Book a tripwith Strictly Elvis UK/Elvis TravelService today and you could beexchanging stories and indulging ina fantastic Elvis experience withfellow fans just like Margaret.

This was to be my first trip as astaff member of Strictly Elvis andalso my first visit to Memphis since1983 when I travelled there with myfamily so you can imagine howexcited I felt. Here is an account ofmy experiences:

Monday 5th No time to recover from

yesterday’s flight – first stop today,GRACELAND!I was last here 32 years ago, and

back then what stood oppositeGraceland were a few local shopsselling Elvis memorabilia and theHickory Log Cafe. Graceland just hada number of temporary buildingswhich made up a gift shop/fast-foodcafe/ticket office and was where themini-buses left to take you to thehouse. Now there’s numerous giftshops, 50’s diners, a ticket hall, theplanes, the cars and of course theHeartbreak Hotel - quite a change! There were also changes in thehouse: more rooms were open andthe carport gone. Also theracquetball court now shows moreof Elvis' gold records and awards. The layout in the main room was alot different as well, there was a lotmore to take in. Outside, the back ofthe house is unchanged. I walked tothe Meditation Garden where a fewfans had gathered, all having theirown thoughts. For a while, I stoodand remembered my late wife and I,plus my two girls standing there ona hot August night in 1982 payingour respects. I had a real lump in mythroat I can tell you. Graceland is andwill always be the Mecca for Elvisfans from all over the world. Longmay it continue.

Tuesday 6thAnother early start for our

sightseeing tour of Memphis:including, amongst what seemedlike hundreds of sights were HumesHigh School, Lauderdale Courts, theElvis statues at Beale St and theMemphis Visitor Centre, and ofcourse the famous Sun Studios. Wehad a really interesting time there,it’s all very well presented and the

Sun story told by the staff wasextremely informative. There wasalso a trip to the Circle G Ranchwhich Elvis owned between 1967and 1969. It is now in a poor state ofrepair and has been recentlypurchased by an organization whoaim to restore it and open it to thepublic. The Elvis Travel Service hadorganized for the new owners tomeet with the fans and explain theirplans. Everyone was delighted tofind out that Elvis' name will still bestrongly linked to the ranch. In theevening a great time was had by allwhen we took over a Beale Streetbar. Our very own UK singer ColinPaul entertained us, singing fromElvis' repertoire. Colin was inexcellent form and had many of thefans up and dancing. What a greatend to the day!

Wednesday 7thA day free for the group to take

advantage of the Shuttle Bus Servicewhich we run between the hotels,Graceland and Downtown Memphis- lots to see and do. This eveningbrought our group a private visit toVernon Presley's house which lies atthe rear of Graceland. A wonderfulbuffet was prepared for us and aguided tour given. I was impressedwith some of the wonderfulpaintings of Elvis on the walls.A number of us then went over to

Marlow's restaurant to see theevening out. We had two surprises

when we arrived: The Imperial’s JoeMoscheo was there, and we werealso entertained by Colin Paul again. A perfect end to a perfect evening.

Thursday 8thThe big day: Elvis' 80th birthday.

We were on the Graceland lawns at9.30 am for the declaration of ElvisPresley Day by the Mayors ofMemphis and Shelby County, andthe cutting of the birthday cake bythe Presley family. It was lovely tosee most of the Presley familypresent and to hear Priscilla and LisaMarie give their thanks to the fansfor their support. They then cut theeight tier cake and the fans allenjoyed a slice of it!And boy, did our chests puff out

when Strictly Elvis were the onlyorganization mentioned by namewhen everyone was welcomed tothe event!!!Then, we were now off to Tupelo

for another birthday celebration. At the birthplace there was anothercake cutting ceremony and sliceswere handed out to the fans. Wealso met people who had beenfriends with Elvis when he wasliving in Tupelo. Much has changedat the birthplace since my last visit, but the shack he was born in wasjust as I remembered, hard tobelieve such a great man was bornin these humble surroundings. Wethen made our way to the famoushardware store where Elvis had his

ELVIS’ 80TH BIRTHDAY TOUR,JANUARY 2015BY MIKE DAVIS

first guitar bought for him byGladys. For the journey intodowntown Tupelo we enjoyed thenow famous Police cavalcadeescort with two police-cars andthree police motorbikesaccompanying us through all thered lights! Our tour of Tupelo, took in lots of

sights including where Gladysworked in a garment factory, theschools that Elvis attended, and, amongst other things, the lateststatue of Elvis. It's a recreation ofthe famous picture of Elvis leaningout to touch fans’ hands when heappeared there in September 1956.We then visited the Tupelo TouristCentre where a hot cup of tea, biscuits and a warm welcome weresupplied. On the way out of thetown we were shown The Stampstour bus. We arrived back inMemphis with no time to waste aswe were all off to an Elvis BirthdayDisco at the Holiday Inn, arrangedby EPE.

Friday 9thMany of us had an early start as

we headed to Nashville, a trip I wasreally looking forward to. First stopwas the Ryman Auditorium, homeof the Grand Ole Opry radio show, then on to the Johnny CashMuseum and then the CountryMusic Hall of Fame to see Elvis’gold Cadillac. The ‘hit’ of the daytho’ was the visit to the famousRCA Studio B. Here we saw thesame instruments that were usedon many of the 200 plus recordingsthat Elvis made here. Anotherfantastic day!

Saturday 10thAnother full day free for a final

visit to Graceland or for moreshopping and exploring. This evening we attended a

concert at The Cannon Centre forThe Performing Arts, featuring TheMemphis Symphony Orchestra andTerry Mike Jeffrey. It was a wonderfuloccasion hearing Elvis' music beingcelebrated in a formal atmosphere ofa concert hall. It's years since I haveseen Terry Mike, he gives an excellentinterpretation of Elvis' music. It was a wonderful night, and a

great way to finish celebrating theMemphis part of the 80th BirthdayTour. All that remained was to packfor the next part of the holiday... 6 days in Miami Beach!

Sunday 11thWe left Memphis in temperatures

of 6° and arrived in Miami to 25°! I couldn’t get all my layers offquickly enough. What a change!

Monday 12thToday brought a guided coach

tour of the city; it has greatarchitecture made up of modernskyscrapers and fantastic Art Decohotels. I just fell in love with theplace. We were fortunate enough tohave an excellent driver who keptus informed about all the sites. Westopped off for pizza and then icecream, which included an ‘Elvis’ one:peanut butter and banana! Ourtour featured many of the wellknown sights of the Miami andMiami Beach such as swankyCoconut Grove, the historicBiltmore Hotel, the South Beach ArtDeco area, the Gianni Versace

Mansion, film locations for famousfilms or TV series such as MiamiVice and, of course, two venueswhere Elvis appeared, the MiamiBeach Convention Center and theOlympia Theatre.

Tuesday 13th A truly wonderful day spent on

the Everglades. Two separate hugeairboats took our party at greatspeed through the narrow streamswhich were bordered by high grass. We were then taken into heavyundergrowth to spot the crocodilesthat were lying on the banksenjoying the hot sun. Once on shorewe watched an expert handlingsmall crocs and snakes. It was yet another great day.

Wednesday 14thAnother trip on the water was

organized for this afternoon: a cruisearound the Biscayne Bay. Here wesaw fantastic views of Miami, andthe amazing waterside propertieswhere the rich and famous live.

Thursday 15thToday I took the group out to the

Miami Seaquarium. As the titleindicates it’s an entertainment parkdisplaying live dolphins, sharks, killerwhales, manatee, sea lions, crocodiles and turtles. We all had agreat time seeing the performingdolphins and huge killer whales.Great joy by some of our party washad when I got soaked after adolphin had performed a "bomb" at the edge of the pool!! On the wayback to our hotel we had one last‘treat’ in store – a visit to theluxurious Fontainebleau Hotel, where Elvis performed with FrankSinatra in March 1960 after comingout of the Army. And the creamcakes were on us!

Friday 16thOur last day, and our early evening

flight home. After some amazingviews of flying low over London wearrived back at Heathrow at10.00am. Everyone had had awonderful holiday and a big ‘welldone’ must go to the Elvis TravelService’s wonderful organization, ensuring we were able to make themost of the time spent in the Statesand were able to enjoy all the extrasthat David arranged for us.

What a trip!

I came back from my 3rd trip toMemphis in August of last year.Anyone who has ever been thereknows that sitting on that red-eyeflight back home is one of themost bittersweet experiences.Sweet because of all the wonderfulmemories that are travelling homewith you, bitter because you’releaving the King’s home far behindyou. My main thought on that long flight back was, how quicklycan I save up enough money to return? So imagine my joy

when just a couple ofmonths later the StrictlyElvis team announced anamazing event -Graceland was comingto the UK! Yes over 300 artefacts from Elvis’home were beingbrought over fromGraceland by EPE, withthe help of course of ourvery own David Wade &Co. And not just for acouple of weeks either;it’s running until the endof August, which is more thanenough time to enable everyone a glimpse into Elvis’ private world.

I was lucky enough to be invitedto an exclusive preview showingbefore it opened to the public, so,armed with notebook in hand, andexcitement in heart I made my wayto the O2 in North Greenwich,London. Firstly I must point outwhat a fantastic venue they havechosen. The O2 is vast; holding notonly an enormous arena, but acinema complex, countlessrestaurants and bars, bowling lanesand huge exhibition venue.Arriving at the exhibition

entrance, past sky-high images ofElvis, you get the opportunity topose for photos in front of abackdrop depicting the ‘GracelandGates’ just as you do in Memphis. Then it’s time to experience Elvis’world for real. The tour starts with an

extremely well made videodocumentary giving the time lineof Elvis’ life; then you move on to a

room dedicated to the Tupeloyears complete with such treasuresas the Presley family bible. The tourmoves from room to roomdocumenting different stages inElvis’ life and career. There areseveral jumpsuits, cars and discs aswell as more intimate items suchas Elvis’ school report, employmentagency application and someitems of clothing belonging toGladys.

Each room is covered withphotos some of them floor toceiling in length, you really arecocooned in Elvis’ worldeverywhere you turn. I have afeeling many of the female fanswill be delighted with the roomdedicated entirely to the 68Comeback Special – especially nowthat the iconic black leather suit iscurrently on display. So what do the people that

matter - the fans - think about the

exhibit? Lynn May, who was atGraceland for the first time lastyear described it as ‘the next bestthing’ to Graceland and was veryimpressed with the way the tourwas put together. Lifelong fanKathleen O’Leary couldn’t believethe amount of items on displaythat she hadn’t seen before, despite having been to Memphistwice now. In particular she

remarked on the volume of armymemorabilia available to view.My personal thoughts about the

exhibition - after I’d stoppedrunning around like a child in asweet shop - are that it’s extremelywell laid out and in many wayseasier to navigate than the exhibitsat Graceland. The tour follows achronological order so you canexperience Elvis’ life from birth

onwards in anorderly fashion. There are somethings on displaythat have notbeen on show atGracelandwhenever I’vebeen there, andsome that Ididn’t get a clearlook at inGraceland due tothe crowds.

Overall, nothing can rival theamazing atmosphere andemotional connection you getwhen visiting Memphis andstanding inside Elvis’ home, butthis exhibit is without doubt thenext best thing.A quick poll straw of the Strictly

crew as to what were theirfavourite items on displayproduced a variety of results. ForNeil Cameron it was the jumpsuitfrom the Houston Astrodomeconcert, Mike Davis was captivatedby the historic Sun Studio disc ofThat’s All Right Mama, whilst David

Wade and Carol Pughboth went for cars –the LincolnContinental and theBlue Hawaii MGrespectively. In fact I’mpretty sure Carol waslooking around for thekeys to drive the MGaway! My personalfavourite though hasto be Elvis’ personalwallet with the photoof Lisa Marie in it. Suchan intimate item, thatwe know he carried

everywhere with him.For those of you who’ve been to

Memphis, here is a chance to relivesome wonderful memories. Forthose of you who’ve never been toElvis’ home, then the O2 allows youthe chance of a glimpse into hislife. Either way, this is a must-seeexhibit for everyone, and maybe anopportunity to convert andeducate some of your friends andfamily! With ticket sales alreadyabove the 100,000 mark it justproves that Elvis can still draw inmassive crowds! The postersproclaim that ‘The King HasArrived’ – he certainly has!

Following our ‘plea’ to find someone to share with our Argentinian friend Ester Blajer on the Bad Nauheim and

Elvis Festival holidays she is now ‘sorted’ for those

plus she’s been offered accommodation near London so that she can visit Elvis at the O2 and see the sights.

However she’d still love to see a bit more of the UK so if you live elsewhere in the UK and have the time and the room to put upEster for a few days towards the end ofAugust then she’d really appreciate it.

David Wade and I had anopportunity to meet PriscillaPresley in Memphis last August andpart of the conversation includedher anticipation at returning to theUK and redeeming her role as theWicked Queen in Snow White andthe Seven Dwarfs. Priscilla admittedthat during her first pantomimeshe hadn't fully understood thetradition of panto or the Britishsense of humour but that quicklychanged and she now loves ourslapstick, dry wit and innuendothat’s the hallmark of pantomime.Priscilla was so pleased when we

informed her that some of the StrictlyElvis team accompanied by a largegroup of Elvis fans would be there tosupport her on the first weekend ofopening. Fast forward to Saturday 6thDecember as we all gathered in thelobby of the Opera House inManchester to fulfil our promise.Armed with programmes and the

obligatory flashing light stick (well itwas a panto after all!) we made our

way to the centre circle in readinessfor curtain up and we didn't have towait long for Priscilla to make herentrance to huge applause. The next two hours were filled withsome great songs including Elvis'King Creole hit ‘Trouble’, sparklingcostumes, a live band, dazzling danceroutines and lots of that British senseof humour that Priscilla had eludedto. Priscilla's timing was excellentproving that her days co-starring withLeslie Nielsen in the Naked Gun filmseries hadn't gone to waste. The curtain fell and soon the

group made their way to the privateStrictly Elvis after-show party butwhat the group was unaware of wasthat Priscilla had promised to join usfor what turned out to be a nightnever to be forgotten.Fresh out of stage costume and

obviously tired from a strenuousperformance she joined us makingsure that she spoke with everyone, posed for photos, signedprogrammes and answered

questions; in fact nothing was toomuch trouble for her. Before she leftshe thanked David and the Strictlyteam for their on-going support andthe opportunity to meet so manylovely people; and clutching a largebouquet of flowers in both handsshe was gone.As we all made our way to TGI

Friday’s restaurant to finish theevening off with some traditionalSouthern Fayre accompanied by Elvis Christmas songs, theconversation turned to what a starPriscilla really was. From the WickedWitch in her castle to Priscilla Presleywho successfully opened the doorsof Elvis' own Castle - Graceland, thus ensuring that we all keep onenjoying this particular Fairytale.

PRISCILLA REIGNS IN MANCHESTER(OH YES SHE DOES!)BY CAROL PUGH

With the Elvis Festival fastapproaching we’re thinking ofnew and different activities andevents to include in theprogramme, but don’t worry we’ll be keeping all of the oldfavourites that have made theevent such a hit over the last 35 years. One of which isundoubtedly our Fancy Dressnight. Over the years we’ve hadsome fabulous nights with themesranging from the Wild West andBeachwear to James Bond andHalloween plus everything in-between. It’s always a highlightof the Festival week with someamazing costumes being enteredinto the Fancy Dress paradecompetition. And this year’s willbe no exception. So to get wordout early our theme for this yearwill be................... Christmas!!

Yes that's right - we'regoing to start the festiveseason a whole 3 monthsearly! There will be ElvisChristmas music, decorations and lots moreincluding a special ideato help a local charity.

So get thinking andlet’s dress up and startout Festive frolics early at the 2015 Elvis Festival. We want to see everyonejoin in so even if youdon’t want to dress upthen just wear your best (or should that be worst!)Christmas jumper!
