Urban legends proclaim Puran Dhaka’s biriyani to be one of the best of its kind. During Ramadan restaurants and hotels are always open until midnight. While Hotel Royal in Lalbagh and Amania in Chawkbazar disappointingly close shop around midnight, Al-Razzaq on North-South road, offering mutton whole-leg roast, chicken chutney, fragrant biriyanis, and molasses-infused firni, is one of those places that do remain open for sehri. Beginning from midnight, this historic restaurant has crowds spilling over the sidewalk waiting for a table.

INSTEAD OF EATING NORMAL REGULAR FOOD PEOPLE PREFER TO EAT HALEEM. BECAUSE IT'S ONE OF THE EASIEST WAY TO FILL UP ONES STOMACH IN QUICK TIME. IT'S MADE OF DIFFERENT KINDS OF PULSE, WHEAT WITH BEEF. IT'S FULL OF NUTRITION WHICH GIVES A PERSON A LOT OF ENERGY.

Every people likes fruits in seasonal. There have many different types of fruits. Mango, litchi, banana, jackfruit are main fruit in our country. In seasonal time many shopkeeper sell in different fruits. Bangladesh is heaven to eat fruit.

Pitha is one kind of street food. It is very popular and delicious food in our country. It is our traditional food. Every person in our country like to eat in the evening. Usually Ptha is sell from evening to midnight. There are getting many types of Pitha beside the street or footpath in our country. Such as Chitoi Pitha, Vapa pitha, Patishapta pitha, Poa pitha etc.

Usually sellers make different types of Pitha in different season. Some Pitha are demandable in winter and some are other season.

Myself : How many years are you selling the cake ?Seller : About 10 years.

Myself : Is this business traditional in your family?Seller : No

Myself : Why do you select this business?Seller : When I started this business my economic condition was poor. I hadn’t enough money to start another good business.

Myself : How do you feel about this business now?Seller : I think it is enjoyable for me. Because everyday different types of person come to eat cake in my little shop. It’s really good.

Myself : How much money do you earn everyday?Seller : Around 700 to 1000.

Myself : Oh! It’s really good. Thanks a lot to talk with us.

Summery of this Interview

One person who started to selling cake about ten years ago. He started this business with a little investment. Because he hadn’t enough money to start another good business. Now he earns 700-1000tk per day. Now he is very happy because he has enough money to support his family. He takes his business cordially and he enjoys his business.

Bad side Of street FoodHere we have seen, What is street foods, Types of street foods, But now I am going to discuss about bad side of street foods>> It is harmful for our health, because when the sellers make some food such as PURI, SINGARA, CHOP, CHAMUCA etc, they use burnt oil. They also use chemical in food to delicious. Some of them use low-quality ingredient to make food. Usually they are cooking and selling food in open place. By leading this process the food are dusted. Before making food they don’t wash their hand properly. Many street food seller don’t cut their nail regularly but we know that in a nail 150000 Lakh bacteria can be remain there. As a result people are suffering from many kinds of disease.

Although there are many bad side of street food but general people receiving it continuously.
