Streaming
The stream (also called transmission, continuous reading, diffusion
flow reading transit diffusion continuous, continuous discharge or
mediaflujo) is digital multimedia distribution via a computer network,so that the user consumes the product (usually audio or video file) in
parallel while downloading. Streaming the word refers to a
continuous stream which flows without interruption.
This technology works through a buffer storing data to be what it
downloads to the user station and then show the downloaded
material. This is in contrast to the mechanism of downloading files, which requires the user to download complete files to access its
content.

Streaming
The term is usually applied to broadcast audio or video. Streaming
requires a connection at least of equal bandwidth than the
transmission rate of the service.
Streaming video became popular in the late 2000s, when the
bandwidth became cheap enough for much of the population.
However, with the technology of streaming a file can be
downloaded and played at the same time, so the waiting time is
minimal

Streaming
Data streaming, commonly seen in the forms of audio and video
streaming, is when a multimedia file can be played back without
being completely downloaded first.
Most files, like shareware and software updates that you download
off the Internet, are not streaming data.
However, certain audio and video files like Real Audio and
QuickTime documents can be streaming files, meaning you can
watch a video or listen to a sound file while it's being downloaded
to your computer. With a fast Internet connection, you can actually
stream live audio or video to your computer.

Lifestreaming
The term lifestream was coined by Eric Freeman and David
Gelernter at Yale University in the mid-1990s to describe "...a time-
ordered stream of documents that functions as a diary of yourelectronic life.
Every document you create and every document other people
send you is stored in your lifestream. The tail of your stream contains
documents from the past (starting with your electronic birth
certificate).
Moving away from the tail and toward the present, your stream
contains more recent documents --- papers in progress or newelectronic mail; other documents (pictures, correspondence, bills,
movies, voice mail, software) are stored in between.

Lifestreaming
Moving beyond the present and into the future, the stream contains documents you will need: reminders, calendar items, to-do lists. The point of lifestreams isn't to shift from one software structure to another but to shift the whole premise of computerized information: to stop building glorified file cabinets and start building (simplified, abstract) artificial minds; and to store our electronic lives inside"[1]
Lifestreams are also referred to as social activity streams or social streams.
Lifestreamers
Are the persons that are publishing their lives (e.g. Photos, Tweets, Videos ) on the World Wide Web. "A well-made lifestream website can provide support with organizing one’s life".

Screencast
Not to be confused with Screenshot or Screencam.
A screencast is a digital recording of computer screen output, alsoknown as a video screen capture, often containing audio narration.The term screencast compares with the related term screenshot;
where as screenshot generates a single picture of a computer
screen, a screencast is essentially a movie of the changes over time
that a user sees on a computer screen, enhanced with audio
narration
