Clinic Process• Patient must have a COVID-related symptom to be tested

• Test order and scheduling can be performed by any team member per protocol w/o cosign

• Order

• Exact Sciences – WI

• Quest – IL

• Scheduling to nearest site

• Enrollment/activation in MyAdvocateAurora (using on-line or LiveWell app)

• WI clinics must complete and fax PUI form to local health department

• Instructions regarding results in 3 to 5 days; for Quest labs it may be as many as 7 days

Testing Results Workflow

• All results will be sent online via MyAdvocateAurora (online or LiveWell app)

• If test is ordered in office, result is sent to ordering provider whether positive or negative – No action required

• Enterprise Population Health (EPH) Staff will contact ALL patients if:

• Patient has a positive result

• Patient has not checked negative result on MyAdvocateAurora (on line or in LiveWell app)

• Patient is not activated in MyAdvocateAurora

• If the patient, ordered the test via the online webpage or hotline only

• PCP will not receive InBasket results

• Positive results will be routed to PCP by EPH – FYI only

Patient Costs

• Patient Financial Responsibility

• If the patient has insurance, the insurance company will be billed for a lab handling fee (99211)

• If the patient does not have insurance, AAH will write off the loss

• No out of pocket cost for the patient.

• In Wisconsin, the Exact Science test is provided by the state at no cost to AAH

• Lab handling and collection fee only

• “Swabber” must have competency validation

• By appointment only; however, people do not have to be in a car to be tested

• Primarily drive-through locations

• Patients are given instructions to quarantine at home until results are obtained
