BEHAVIOURS FOR SUCCESS
A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO
Welcome to the Bendigo Kangan Institute 2015-2017
strategic intent document. This outlines our vision,
purpose, six strategic priorities and the behaviours
for success. Since the merger that took effect on 1
July 2014, there has been a tremendous amount of
work undertaken within the Institute to progress the
integration. Developing this strategy framework has
been an important part of this work. It will provide
guidance and direction on the key decisions that the
Institute will make in the coming months. We have
closely examined the external operating drivers and
where current performance is at.
There are many challenges to be overcome but there
are also fantastic opportunities. The merger is a great
opportunity for the Institute to reshape itself to be
more competitive. The Institute aspires to be the
dominant provider in its markets and be a leader. To
be sustainable and in the best position to deliver for
all of our learners, we have to make some important
changes. It is this change to the way we do business
that will set up the organisation for success as the
leading learning partner in our markets. It’s time to
take charge of our future.
