for securing a bailout.
Citigroup Inc. and Bank of America Corp. increased more than 1.4
percent as banks recovered from Wednesday’s drop.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index climbed 0.2 percent to 2,051.31 at 4
p.m. in New York, after falling 1.7 percent to a four-month low
yesterday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 33.20 points, or
0.2 percent, to 17,548.62. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 0.3
percent.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index added 2.2 percent to 381.06 at the close

WHATS HOT?
DATE CODE COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT
WHATS NOT?
QAN.asx - steaming hot OFX.asx - cooling down
Not many ASX 200 stocks are currently
trading near 52-week highs, however QAN
remains at very high levels. A spectacular
turnaround in the past 24 months buoyed by
an internal strategic review and lower oil
prices has seen Qantas return to profit.
OZForex has recently broken technical
support and remains in its bearish
downtrend. After listing at $2 in 2013, OFX
rose significantly but is now reaching for the
initial listing price again. Investors fear the
highly competitive market and higher costs
required to maintain a competitive edge.

Ardent Leisure Group (AAD)
CODE COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT
Ardent Leisure Group (AAD) is an operator of leisure and entertainment
assets across Australia, New Zealand and the United States. AAD
operates Dreamworld, WhiteWater World, SkyPoint Climb, d'Albora
Marinas, AMF and Kingpin bowling centres and Goodlife fitness centres
across Australia and New Zealand.
The recent pullback presents a speculative buying opportunity in a
fundamentally strong company. AAD has recently experienced heavy
volatility, but it appears oversold in the short-term and enjoys
institutional support. The equity has broken its medium-term downtrend
which is our technical buying signal.
