Throughout the season you'll find a select group of stallholders in our atmospheric Parlour Rooms selling homemade and traditional products. With stalls switching every few days it’s the perfect opportunity to find unique gifts for all the family.

Welcome to Stowe’s Christmas shopping season.

Lovingly local

We’ve gathered a selection of local, independent businesses and groups to bring

you a variety of homemade and traditional gift ideas for all the family.

We very much hope you’ll come along to support local businesses, browse their

products and enjoy some Christmas shopping in a relaxed environment. It’s the

perfect excuse to take a moment to enjoy tea and cake in the café afterwards. If

you’re coming mid-week, make an occasion of it and book a Christmas lunch in

the café.

You’ll also find the National Trust shop within the visitor centre open daily from

10am selling Christmas gifts, decorations and delicious festive food inspired by

special places.

The event

Here you’ll find a quick reference calendar with details of when each stallholder

will be attending the shopping season and further information on their products

later in this booklet. There are five different Parlour Rooms to visit so make sure

you don’t miss any!

Entrance to the New Inn visitor centre at Stowe and this event within the historic

Parlour Rooms is free. The traders change every few days so return time and time

again to find the perfect present and discover a new trader. Car parking is £2 or

free for National Trust members.

By supporting this event you help us to continue our work to restore these

historic gardens, park and the New Inn, including bringing these Parlour Rooms

back to life—thank you.
