This will be a close up of the main antagonists hand sorting out the clothes that he/she will be wearing.

Shot of the main antagonist looking at hand while opening door to the club/pub.

This is the main antagonist panning the room to identify him/herself with characters in the room. The audience may be able to relate with the groups presented in this shot. (stereotypical views)

This will an over the shoulder shot of the antagonist looking at different friendship groups within the pub. He/she will still be walking around the pub/club.

Tracking to identify the audience with the location more and other characters which the main antagonist associates themselves with.

Panning to reveal the setting and other characters which could be enigma codes (Roland Barthes) to scenes later on in the soap trailer which can bring different story lines or clues about the soap. Panning also to show the movement of the characters eyes.

Static to show the angle of the main antagonists eyes.

Cut to the young group of friends who are laughing with each other and playing spin the bottle. This is the first time the audience are presented with this friendship group. Some may be able to build a ‘personal relationship’ due to certain characteristics.

This is a low angle shot of the bottle stopping on the first character out of 5 around the table. This is going to present each character to the audience in a clearer form.

…A flashback of a character lying dead in the middle of the road with the first character crying at the dead character. This would be where the audience can sympathise with characters on screen – ‘caregivers’ Maslow.

Tilt upwards to reveal the main antagonist which is shot in a close up. This will then reveal the main antagonist and will cause a deeper disequilibrium in which the audience will want to know more.

This is the last shot of the trailer which will contain all the soap trailer information such as: what channel, the time the soap will be aired and on when it will be aired. It will also contain some information to the social media platform to appeal to a wider audience.
