STORMING THE THRONE ROOM OF GOD I hope you’ve been enjoying the current sermon series about becoming a Christ-centered vertical church. One of those attributes is consistent, intentional prayer, or as Pastor Bryan Breland refers to it: “Storming the throne room of God.” Yes, we are called to have a consistent, private time of prayer with the Lord, but the Bible is clear that there is something special when believers come together to lift up prayers to our Heavenly Father. Matthew 18:20 is clear, “Where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them.” Having said that, I would encourage each of you, who is available, to please join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 in the Sanctuary where we lift up our prayers corporately to the Lord. It is right after the Wednesday dinnertime, so you can attend both events without conflict. I can only say that it is amazing to see how the Lord faithfully and consistently answers our prayers as evidenced in our time of sharing with each other before the prayer time. Calling all Singers! This is a great time to join the

choir as we are about to start on our Easter musical,

Closer to the Cross.

This very meaningful musical will be presented on

Easter Sunday morning, April 12, by the combined

Celebration Choir and Senior Adult Choir. So, it’s

an opportunity for you to rehearse with the choir of

your choice!

The musical will be presented with DVD

accompaniment which adds a great dimension to

the presentation. It will dovetail beautifully with

Pastor Bryan’s Resurrection Sunday message.

The Celebration Choir rehearses each Wednesday

night at 7:30 pm and the Senior Adult Choir

rehearses each Tuesday at 11:00 am. Both choirs

rehearse in the Choir Room.

I hope to see YOU in the choir as we prepare for an

exciting Resurrection Celebration!

Ring Your Praise to the Lord!

Kidz Choir

The children’s choir meets Wednesday

nights, 6:00 – 6:45 pm, and currently is

working on a collection of songs called

Hosanna, He Lives. The kids will sing

soon in Sunday morning worship as

well as presenting a program at the end

of the choir/school year.

There is a place for YOU!
