The SamSon Stormajor® BF0415T is designed to receive bulk aggregates with densities of up to 1.6 t/m3 direct from dump trucks providing a large holding capacity and a regulated output feed rate of up to 625 m3 (dependant on material density) per hour direct to a mobile crushing, screening or other processing plant.
UndercarriageThe BF0415T is mounted on a tracked subframe with a pair of heavy duty steel growser type track units.
Power packBoth the feeder and tracks are driven by a CaT C 4.4 diesel engine via variable displacement hydraulic pumps.
Loading sectionHorizontal loading section with folding flared entry allows greater flexibility in vehicle alignment and maximises holding capacity while minimising the vehicle access ramp requirement. material can be received direct from the trucks or wide bucket front end loaders. The folding flared entry allows the BF0415T to meet restrictive transport dimensions.
Outloading boom sectionThe luffing and radial ranges allow for flexible feeding and large stockpiling capabilities. Featuring a foldable boom, the BF0415T meets compact transport dimensions.
Conveyor design Feeder belt supported by unique high performance, trapezoidal form, load bearing double apron bars located every pitch of the heavy duty conveyor chain. The feeder uses a 2,200 mm wide belt and the boom a 1,000 mm wide chevron belt.
Material discharge rate Regulated volumetric material discharge is controlled by a combination of an adjustable strike off blade and belt speed.
Controlsa control panel (with LCD screen) provides proportional speed, slew and luff control and indicator lights that downstream equipment is ready to receive material. Tracking is controlled via a dog lead remote control. In addition the unit will be supplied with a block chute probe at the transfer point and a rotation sensor.
