2. Experience of Prayer....
I pray in the car..
Praying out loud keeps me awake on motorway journeys...
I pray on the toilet
I pray in coffee shops
I pray first thing in the morning
I pray when washing up
I pray regularly but not for very long
I pray about money and God always provides
I pray when Im too busy and stressed and God always calms me down
I prayed for my Dad to be healed and he wasnt , he died.
I prayed for my friend to come to know Jesus,
and he did
I pray that I can love my wife in the best way possible
I pray for G2
I pray while on the golf course
I pray in the bath
Where and how do you pray?
5. Answers to Prayer.....
Alpha Course
A week before the Holy Spirit Session we had no speaker, no venue and no food....
We prayed that God would be in control and that he might speak to people

In a few days we had an amazing venue, great teaching and someone unprompted offered to cook.
God really moved in peoples lives

We prayed guests might come to Alpha.....

We saw most of the invited people come and some who werent invited!
Weve seen 29 different people at Alpha Christian and Non-Christian...
We couldnt have done this without prayer

We prayed that God would move in peoples lives.......
He is doing
I spent the first 4 weeks of term struggling to make progress with my research project...
I realised I hadnt actually talked to God about this....
I asked him to provide...
The next day I got inspiration for research and within a week had more material than Id managed to find on my own in a month.
God is interested in and cares about our lives.....
In 2008 I broke my nose in a sailing accident...
The consultant said my nose would have to be broken again in order to re-set it properly....
I went to Momentum with the CU.
I asked for prayer......nothing happened
The next day I asked for prayer again
and I was prayed for for 30 minutes
Still nothing visible had changed...
When I got home my Mum said,
Your nose looks a lot straighter...
She told me how she had also been praying for me....
The first thing the consultant said when I saw him was...
Your nose looks a lot straighter!
He asked me what had happened...
I said I had been prayed for...
After checking my nose he was astounded...
He had never seen anything like it before...
I would no longer need an operation...
Also in the room were 4 medicalstudents and another doctor....
They all heard about Gods healing power and reality first hand...
My healing miracle was certified by a top consultant!
Through prayer God has:

Prompted me and given me strength torestore my relationship with my brother

19. Help me stay calm when on the sportspitch! 20. Brought me to G2 right when I was walking away from him.God really moved in peoples lives
Through prayer God has:
Provided the finances, tents, cars, helpers, vans, administration and equipment needed to take over 200 kids to Soul Survivor over the last 4 years.....
...and bring them back without givingeven one of them food poisoning!
18 people made a commitment to God on the different trips...
Our car needed fixing,
It was going to cost 366.
We didnt have the money
so we prayed for it...
A week later someone gave us 300
With gift aid that was enough to cover the car!
25. Prayer....
God is real
He wants to speak to us
He answers our prayers all the time
do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6
