1. Configure general settings



To specify general extension settings please go to Stores -> Configuration -> Store Locator

Specify frontend URL for a store locator page.

This option allows using Geo IP data which is very useful for the cases when a customer’s browser doesn’t provide location data.

Set this option to ‘Yes’ to use customers’ browser location data.

You can either set default distance units (kilometers/miles) or enable users to specify the units on the frontend (see page 15).



Here you can specify the template for the Google mark that will be displayed for each store location on the map.

Specify the title that will be displayed on a Store Locator page.

Specify the text for URLs that will be displayed on product pages. The links will redirect customers to the map with offline stores which sell corresponding products.

Insert Google API Key (get more details about Google API usage and limits here).

To edit the settings untick the corresponding radio button.

You can specify main settings for different store views. When the store view is chosen, you can configure settings for it.

Click here to specify conditions for a new segment.



2. Import GeoIP data

Databases are needed for the correct work of the Store Locator module. Please download the necessary files from Amasty or from your own source. To add the files, please go to Stores->Configuration-> Geo Ip Data

To import the files from your own source, use import option . Path to the files should look like this. Replace the selected part with your folders’ names.

Click on the necessary location to start editing it.

To create a new store location please go to Content -> Store Locator

3. Create new locations

Specify location name.

Choose store views for which this particular location will be available.


Specify country, state/province and city for each store location.

Upload an image for each store that will be displayed on the frontend map (see the example).

Specify exact address that will be displayed on the frontend.

You can enable/disable the location display on the map.

Indicate phone number, email address and a website URL for each store location (optional).

Specify additional description.

View the location marked on the map. You can easily zoom it in and out.

4. Preview locations on the map

The exact location coordinates can be defined automatically after you specify location address. It’s also possible to specify them manually.

In case some products are available only in specific offline stores, you can assign them to the necessary store location with the help of conditions.

5. Assign products to store locations

This link automatically appears on product pages when you assign products to particular store locations.

Customers can specify exact location to search the nearby stores.

6. Frontend location page

Specify exact search radius if needed.

If you enable customers to select search radius measurement, this drop down will appear (see page 4).

Store locations are added to the locations list and displayed on the map.

You can display any additional info for each store (see page 10).


Select a map view or a satellite view.

Google mark with your template (see page 4) will be displayed for the nearest store.

Neighbored stores are united in clusters.
