Elbi Qube: The high efficiency thermal device
ELBI has deep experience in the design and production of specific products for heating systems and for sanitary
water for both small residential infrastructures and large systems. By combining knowledge and experience, we have
conceived this heat accumulator with innovative features.
Qube overcomes the problems common to conventional storage tanks, bringing thermal efficiency to new levels and
setting new standards for hot water storage tanks. Qube is therefore ideal for meeting the needs of residential homes
and providing high comfort, as well as for reducing installation costs.

Space-saving design and innovative technology.
The internal Qube tank is made using rotomolding technology
and it’s reinforced with glass fiber: this combination of materials
makes it very resistant compared to the corresponding
conventional products.
Qube was designed with a square shape, a design that makes
it compact for a more efficient use of space and improves its
thermal insulation characteristics.
In a system that uses thermal solar panels, the storage tank
becomes a central part of the system, and it guarantees
its efficiency. Numerous benefits are obtained by using an
adequate storage tank such as the Qube model.

Compatibility with multiple types of heating systems
Qube has been designed to function as an autonomous storage tank or in combination with other devices for any type
of heating system.

Designed to provide domestic hot water
Qube is a hot water storage tank. The sanitary water is heated instantly during use as a continuous flow device. The
water flows through the corrugated stainless steel pipes, remaining hygienic and clean. This operating mode reduces
the formation of Legionella and other germs in the water. We recommend heating the drinking water up to a maximum
temperature of 60 ° C in order to reduce the calcification of the heat exchanger and not to produce domestic hot water
at unnecessarily high temperatures. The stainless steel heat exchanger is also resistant to limescale deposits while
maintaining constant heat exchange capacity.
Instantly hygienically safe domestic hot water
Qube produces instant domestic hot water.
Instant heating of sanitary water limits the proliferation of Legionella.
Minimal heat loss
Qube is equipped with a stratified separator and stainless steel heat exchangers. These elements ensure a corrosion
resistance to the product (it does not require the use of anodes), prevent the formation of foul-smelling water inside
the tank and avoid unwanted chemical reactions.
The materials used for the realization of Qube are of high thermal insulation. The insulation is in low combustion class
B2 polyurethane foam according to DIN 4102, guaranteeing safety, high energy class, high efficiency and system
stability.
No corrosion
The combination of plastic and fiberglass composite materials gives corrosion resistance on both surfaces (internal
and external)
“A” and “A +” energy efficiency class
Composite plastic materials significantly reduce heat
loss: this is why the Qube storage tank has a 60%
lower heat loss than the corresponding traditional hot
water storage tanks.

Optimized thermal stratification system and controlled diffusion
All entering, filling pipes, are positioned within the stratification tube. This
is made of stainless steel and has multiple openings positioned to support
the stratification process. The stratification tube keeps the thermal diffusion
controlled and stratifies the heat in several thermal layers, improving efficiency
and minimizing heat loss.
The incoming water of the heating system flows inside the stratification tube
and is positioned in the thermal layer corresponding to its temperature. The
direction of flow inside the tank depends on the model and its function in the
heating system.
Maximum efficiency
The Qube stratified separator storage tank provides hot water faster than
traditional tanks.
High resistance
Thanks to its excellent resistance, without welding joints and without weak
points, Qube can operate in absolute safety up to a constant operating pressure
of 6 bar and an operating temperature of 90 ° C. Qube is a pressure tank for
direct integration into heating systems.
Low maintenance
Thanks to the anti-corrosion plastic tank, it is not necessary to install anodes which should then be checked and re-
placed periodically. The stainless steel heat exchanger has a mirror surface finish, is made with a corrugated stainless
steel tube and the water that flows inside naturally generates vibrations and vortices that hinder deposits of limestone,
sediment or rust. Only the correct operation of the safety valve should be checked periodically.
Multifunction tank suitable for different types of use
Qube can be used and set up for multiple uses, such as: solar accumulator, combined accumulator of multiple heat
sources, pressure tank, thermal accumulator, hydraulic separator, water heater for sanitary water.
From simple storage tank to combined and integrable tank
Qube can be equipped with stratification tube, heat exchangers and backup electric heating in various combinations.
The tank enjoys maximum durability, all internal parts are removable and replaceable. The layout of Qube can also be
changed after purchase to meet new usage needs.
Qube is a one-of-a-kind storage tank that can be supplied substantially in 5 different variants, depending on the system
requirements.
You can use it as:
1. Pressure storage tank;
2. Separate storage tank;
3. Solar storage tank;
4. Domestic hot water tank;
5. Combined accumulator.
Qube can be installed in battery or as a single device.
