Christmastime at “Meadow Village Restaurant” AND “Meadow Lights” December 6 (Thursday @ 4pm)
Not far from Benson—in a small community known as “Meadow”—sits a rare jewel of Johnston County called “Meadow Village Restaurant.”
We’ll leave Stoney Creek around 4pm and arrive at “Meadow Village Res-taurant” just in time for dinner around 5pm.
After a delicious meal, we will travel just a couple of miles down the road to the home of the famous “Meadow Lights.” Since its humble beginnings, the lights have grown from a single decorated yard to over 30 acres of lights! Now there are thousands of people from the community, region and state who make the trip to Meadow to see the lights.
Although most of the lights are visible from the road, the “Meadow Lights” operates 3 trains throughout 10 acres of their displays. The train is for riders of all ages—from 0 to 105 years old.
We suggest you ride the train, but if you want to skip the train, you can hang out in the Meadow Lights Christmas Store which is located within the lights or ride the carousel or do it all! The store has become the largest candy store in the area even though it’s only open two months each year. You’ll find over 300 varieties of candy, preserves, drinks, hot apple cider, old fashioned signs, and lots more. We hope you join us! We believe this will be a great trip to help boost your Christmas spirit! Sign up at Senior IC.
Nov 17th @ 9am—Noon Bring gloves and any tools you
think might be helpful. We will con-tinue building new shops, construct-ing a new road, putting fronts on all shops, and doing general mainte-
nance and organizing.

Today is Veteran’s Day. This is a day set aside to honor and remember those who have served our country in the military. In our worship today we want to salute our veterans and our active mili-tary personnel. We thank you for all the sacrifices made on our behalf. God bless you!!
Plan to join us as we pause to

from some of our own,
enjoy special music, listen to the
little children share and take a
special offering for the FWB Chil-
dren's Home. Nursery will be
provided for ages two and under.
Don't miss it!
Congratulations to Chris & Shere Myers and Caleb, Elliana & Annika on the birth of a daughter and sister! Arabella Mae
was born on Nov. 2 at 10:06 pm. She weighed 8lbs. 8oz. and was 21.5" long. Let's keep this precious family in our prayers.
Would you like to share a 5 minute testimony of God's goodness to you during our Thanksgiving
Service? Or sing a special song, or play an instrumental? Contact Nancy Mills or the church office.

Thank YOU for Help ing! We wish to thank everyone who part icipated in our an-nual Samaritan ’s Purse Oper-at ion Christmas Children program last Sunday even-ing . We prepared over 300 shoeboxes . All shoeboxes must be turned in by NEXT Sunday in order to make i t to the distribut ion site on t ime.
“Scripture is filled with reminders to believers encour-aging them to, “give thanks in everything,” or “in all things give thanks,” or even, “give thanks with a grate-ful heart.” While these are admirable and worthy of our attention, do you ever find it hard to give thanks all the time? Life can be absolutely difficult and trying and giving thanks does not always make it to the top of my priority list! Join us for worship in the month of November as we examine scripture and work through a thanksgiv-ing series entitled “It’s Not Always Easy Giving Thanks!”

FWB Children’s Home Christmas Party Next Saturday, November 17th 3:30-7 PM
The FWB Children’s Home party will be next Saturday, No-vember 17th beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The Crusaders for Christ class will begin setting up the in-flatables at 1 p.m. and are asking for men in our church family to come out and assist with this task. Anyone from our Church is invited to attend. There will be lots of food and fun for the children and is surely to be a blessing to all that attend. If you have not signed up to bring food, please feel free to bring a dish to share with everyone.
On December 3rd, the OCSC will conduct their annual Airmen Cookie Drive. This tradition requires nearly 9,000 cookies for our Seymour John-son AFB airmen. Many of these air-men will not be able to go home for the holidays and this event helps bring a little cheer to their holiday season. If you would like to bake cookies for this event, please bring them to the church kitchen on December 2nd in a disposable container. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
