About this releaseThis document contains important information about the current release of Stonesoft® VPN Client for Android. Westrongly recommend that you read the entire document.

Stonesoft VPN Client for Android is an end-user component for use with the Stonesoft® Next Generation Firewallby Forcepoint (Stonesoft NGFW) solution. Stonesoft VPN Client provides a secure remote connection to yourorganization's internal network. Strong encryption prevents eavesdropping and modification of the traffic.Stonesoft VPN Client enables easy and secure remote access to private networks where Stonesoft NGFW isused as a VPN gateway.

System requirementsStonesoft VPN Client for Android requires Android 4.0 or later. Stonesoft VPN Client can be installed on bothphones and tablets.

Build versionStonesoft VPN Client 2.0.0 build version is 1012.

CompatibilityStonesoft VPN Client 2.0.0 is recommended to be used with the following Next Generation Firewall componentversions.

RebrandingStonesoft Next Generation Firewall (Stonesoft NGFW) is now part of Forcepoint. The look and feel of theStonesoft VPN Client have been updated to reflect the Forcepoint brand.

EnhancementsThis release of the product includes these enhancements.

Domain name and search domain configured via DHCPRemote users can now use all DNS domain names from the internal networks. The SSL VPN passes the DHCPdomain and domain search information to the Stonesoft VPN Client.

PerformancePerformance has been improved by streamlining the packet handling.
