Cyclic Loading: Stress loading caused by the oscillating pressure waves as the tool is reciprocated through the interval.

Acoustic Streaming: "Pinpoint" placement of fluid.

Chemical reaction: Enhances the chemical reaction through increased fluid mixing and by increasing the surface area for contact.

Egypt: Two Cretaceous sandstone reservoirs were completed as a straddled completion, accessed through a Sliding Side-Door® valve.

Expected production of 1,000-1,200 BOPD, but the zone initially produced only 200 BOPD, and later declined further to an intermittent flow of 0 to 50 BOPD.

Because the zones of interest were isolated from the main wellbore and only accessible through the Sliding Side-Door® valve, direct access to the perforations was impossible.

The Fluidics oscillator Tool was deployed to help fatigue the suspected debris buildup in the zones.

Clay stabilizer and fines control were used with acid system, and pumped at 60 GPF and 28 GPF, respectively.

Volumes were controlled to minimize the job cost, and clay stabilizer material was used for over-displacing the acid and then again for the displacement stage.

After stimulation, the well initially flowed at 1,500-1,600 BPD, without artificial lift.

Production later stabilized at approximately 1,300 BOPD.

Fluidic Oscillator Service used in conjunction with a third

party proprietary stimulation fluid system to remove filter cake and drilling fluid residue from long, horizontal gravel pack completions with screens.

Results: 62% productivity increase.

Recent tests demonstrated the effectiveness of fluidic oscillation in moving fluid through a screen into the gravel pack.
