We was assigned “Adventure for a young audience” for our task. We decided to use the trim trial at the bottom of the field of our school for our setting. The setting suited the genre as it is surrounded by trees and is secluded to rest of the school. We started to think about camera angles and how they could work with the setting and genre.

We decided to use a low angle with this shot. This made the climbing frame which Bobby was standing on look higher than it actually was. It creates adventure and his facial expression shows a sense of accomplishment.

This image we decided that we should include Denzil as well as Bobby. The characters are peeping behind a tree creating a sense of mystery as well as adventure. It makes the audience wonder what they are hiding from, showing us an adventure is about to begin.

In this shot we have again used a low angle shot to capture Bobby in the tree and creating the deception of the tree being higher than it actually is. His expression is happy which will appeal to the target audience and the genre.

We positioned Bobby as walking into a cabin. Adventure is shown clearly here as he is exploring something of which he has found. A young audience would be attracted to this as it does not show any signs of violence.
