STI Academic Center Lucena Ready for SY 201 5-1 6

The n ewest STI Academ ic Center ho lds i ts topping off ceremony in Lu cena Ci ty ,

Quezon P rovince in time for school year 201 5-20 1 6. The four-storey state-of-the-art

facility is ready to accomm odate mo re than 4,000 students for the senior high school

and co llege students residing within the pro vince.

To com m em orate this milestone, the Chairman of the STI Execut ive Com mit tee of

STI Education Services Group, Inc. (ESG) and Chairman of the Board of STI

Educat ion Services Holdings, Inc. (ESH) Eusebio H. Tanco; together with STI ESG

President and Chief Executive Officer M onico V. Jacob; Execu tive Vice President and

Chief Operating Officer Peter K. Fernandez; and the school's executives and

officials; joined m em bers of general contractor, M onoc rete Construction Philippines,

Inc. (M CPI) in the cerem ony held in the facility.

The property broke ground on January 1 0, 201 4, and the construct ion was ini tia ted

during the 3rd week of F ebruary. With a floor area of 4,347 square meters, the four-

s to rey STI Academ ic CenterLucen a was made to provide a conducive learning

environme nt for i ts students. The st ructure houses fully air -condit ioned classrooms

equipped with LCD projectors and LED lightning systems, a library filled with

updated research m ater ia ls and an internet conn ect ion, Students can a lso prac t ice

their skills and ho ne their proficiency in their respe ctive fields inside the simu lation

rooms avai lab le fo r a l l programs in Informat ion & C om mu nications Technology,

B usiness & M anagemen t, Tourism & Hospitality M anagemen t, Arts and Sciences,

Engineering, and Senior High Schoo l.

STI Ac adem ic Center Luce na is proud to be one of the pioneer institutions in the

province to be given a permit by the Department of Educat ion (De pEd) to offer the

Senior High School program as early as school year 2014-2015. This is STI's

nationwide support to the D epEd's thrust of developing holistic F ilipino graduates.

The completion of the new Academic Center in Lucena seals another positive

outlook both for our future students, and for the whole STI comm unity, shares M r.

Jacob. STI has delivered its part in delivering quality education to the city of

Lucen a, and I am o pt imis tic tha t we can keep up with th is m ovem ent to lay more

foundations of prime hubs of academ ic excellence in the country.

STI's commitment in its pursuit towards real life education is the institution's drive

to augm ent its networks and give the youth b etter prospects for a bigger future.

The rise of STI Acad em ic Center Lucen a follows the successful operat ions of STI

Acade mic Ce nters in Global City, Naga, F airview, Alabang, Novaliches, M alolos,

Ortigas-Cainta, Caloocan, Calamba, and Cubao .
