How are you feeling now about home learning? Did it get any better? I hope you are well and ready for another new day of fun activities to try out at home! Before you start off your day, do have a think about how you are feeling. It is so important to listen to our own bodies and emotions. We will be practising some reading tasks this morning and then continuing to revise some Numeracy skills which we have previously done in class. Introduction:
Find a space you are comfortable in and pick a book to read. Make sure it is not too easy or too difficult for you. The book may be from your collection at home or else online from https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/reading/free-ebooks/. If you have any difficulties using the oxford owl website, there is an Oxford Reading Tree Help in the Resources section under the Primary 2 tab on the school website.
1. Read the story of your choice a couple of times until you have understood the story and successfully read most words.
2. Make a list of different characters you came across in your story.
3. Now choose your favourite character.
4. Draw your character on a paper or jotter.
· Write 5 words to describe him/her.
· Write 5 sentences about him/her.
You can use the word banks to help you.
