If asked how bureaucracy is perceived in the company, an employee would tell you every department has its own agenda and cares for no one. Political in-fighting is rampant, too.

What most employees can’t swallow is the distortion or usage of data to suit the management’s need for cover up and other maneuvers to keep itself in the positive light.

Big companies usually never spend the time to figure that those

who belong to the top tier of the talent department wants to be a part of something BIG, something that would change the world, for which they truly care about.

Sounds like a script straight from a silly teen movie, but this is TRUE. These people aren’t money or power driven.

Often rushed with a form filled out quickly and is forwarded to the HR, the employee’s initial impression to the poor annual performance review is usually: “I know the Boss never seemed to like me that much, but this is dreadful: I always clean my desk!”

With most bosses not engaging with their employees to discuss career plans, most employees felt neglected (a study shows most employees don’t know what or where they will be going in 5 years). Consequently, if people perceived the bosses don’t have a path for them forward, they’ll be likely to hand that resignation letter soon.

When an organization seeks and maintains an atmosphere of

creativity and competitiveness through its employees, people will

likely stay as everyone will be inspired and be motivated by each

other’s light.

Even restaurants have it. Not food, but a mission (often emblazoned in the cashier area). If your company failed to emphasize the meaning of the company mission (or if you forgot to brief the employee about it), how would you lead the employees to better do their tasks? Employees need to be reminded everyday why they are working in your company.
