Young Steven Jobs

• Born on February 24th, 1955 in San Francisco, California

• Adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs.

• Adoption was finalized under the condition that Steven would attend college

• Skipped 5th grade

• Took his first electronics class in high school

• After school, attended lectures at the Hewlett-Packard company where he met Steve Wonzniak during work

• Dropped out after one semester

• Stayed and slept on his friends dorm room floor and dropped in on classes of interest

The Beginning of A Career

• Returned to California in 1974 and was hired as a technician for Atari

• Debut at “Homebrew Computer Club”

• Steve convinced Wozniak to work with him in building computers

• The Apple’s logo was designed by Wayne.

• 1977, Ronald Wayne sold his share.

• 1996 : Gil Amelio, CEO of Apple,purchased NeXT and NeXTSTEP opersting system.

• Bringing Jobs back to Apple as an advisor

• Late Jobs became ICEO.• 1997 : Collaboration with Microsoft and Apple store.

• 2006 : Jobs became a member of the board of directors ofThe Walt Disney Company following acquisition of pixar by disney PIXAR.

ON 5TH OCTOBER 2011 THE LEGEND TOOK HIS LAST BREATH.

IN HIS WORDS:NO ONE WANTS TO DIE.EVEN PEOPLE WHO WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN DON’T WANT TO DIE TO GET THERE….YET DEATH IS THE DESTINATION WE ALL SHARE….DEATH IS VERY LIKELY THE SINGLE BIGGEST INVENTION OF LIFE. IT IS LIFE;S CHANGE AGENT.IT CLEARS OUT THE OLD TO MAKE WAY FOR THE NEW.

IN AUG 2004 STEVE UNDEWENT A SURGERY FOR PANCREATIC CANCER.IN 2009 HE WAS OPERATED ON FOR A LIVER TRANSPLANT.ON 17TH JAN 2011 HE ANNOUNCED FOR AN INDEFINITE LEAVE TO FOCUS ON HI HEALTH.NEWS WAS THERE THAT HE’LL DIE IN 6 MONTHS BUT HE REMAINED POSITIVE AND SAID THAT HI DISEASE WAS EXAGGERATED.

STEVE JOBS RESIGNED AS THE CEO OF APPLE ON 24TH AUGUST 2011.BUT HE RENAINED ACTIVE AS THE CHAIRMAN OF APPLE TILL HIS LAST DAYS.

APPLE HAS REDEFINED THE MUSIC BUSINESS THROUGH THE iPoD,THE CELLPHONE BUSINESS

THROUGH iPhone,AND THE ENTERTAINMENT AND MEDIA WORLD THROUGH Ipad.AGAIN AND

AGAIN,JOBS GAMBLED THAT HE KNEW WHAT THE CUSTOMER WOULD WANT ,AND AGAIN AND

AGAIN HE WAS RIGHT.

EXTRAORDINARY RISK-TAKING AND HIS TENACITY.”
