Step on Stress Step on Stress is a free stress management course for adults developed and run by the NHS Fife Psychology department. The course is already running in various locations in DWF (Dunfermline & Lochgelly), KLM (Kirkcaldy & Leven) and is now expanding to other areas of NEF (Cupar, St Andrews, and Glenrothes). Stress is a very common problem and it is important that people can access help quickly and easily. Step on stress is a free service and operates on a self-referral system where anyone can book a place and attend. Step on Stress is a three week course which takes place once a week. Each session is roughly 90 minutes long with a short break in the middle. The course begins by examining the impact of factors like diet and sleep on mood and offers some simple lifestyle tips so that participants can start tackling their stress straight away. The course also looks at how to manage the effects of stress on both mind and body and provides relaxation techniques to help participants manage their worries. Participants will also be given a relaxation CD and handouts at each session so that they can get the most out of the course. 3 Sessions: 2nd, 9th and 16th March in the Lomond Centre, Woodside Way, KY7 5RA at 10.15am.

Lochgelly:3 Sessions: 20th, 27th April and 4th May in Lochgelly Centre, Bank Street, Lochgelly, KY59 RD at 5.30pm.

Dunfermline3 sessions: 11th, 18th and 25th May in Carnegie Conference Centre, Halbeath Road, KY11 8DY at 5.30pm.
