SUMMER VACATION SCHEMEWe run a two-week summer vacation scheme to give you a chance to experience firsthand what it’s like to practice law with a global law firm in Asia. Doing our summer scheme is a prerequisite for applying for a training contract with us in Singapore, and will give you a good taste of things to come.

During the scheme, you will gain experience in both our Corporate and Finance departments, working for a supervisor on actual matters. In addition, you will be asked to produce two short writing pieces and give a presentation. There will also be plenty of social events for you to meet our lawyers and become acquainted with Singapore, one of the world’s most vibrant and energetic global cities.

We will pay you a stipend of SGD650 a week (approximately equivalent to £350) and provide return economy tickets and accommodation (if required). Our scheme is open to both law and non-law students, as well as graduates and those completing or who have completed their GDL or LPC. ENGLISH LAW TRAINING CONTRACTIf you’ve completed our vacation scheme in Singapore and are keen to start your legal career in a dynamic, exciting and multicultural environment, our English law training contract in Singapore gives you the chance to spend three seats in Singapore and one seat in London, gaining experience as an international lawyer in our Corporate and Finance departments.

Beyond the unequalled training and professional development opportunities that a training contract in Singapore offers, we also offer the following salary and benefits:

� Payment of GDL and LPC fees, including full repayment if you have completed your studies.

� A maintenance grant of £8,000 for each GDL and/or LPC year.

� A bonus of £500 if you achieve a distinction on your LPC. � Fully paid accommodation for the duration of your training

contract (if required). � A competitive starting salary (currently SGD89,500 a year). � A competitive salary on qualification. � A benefits package that includes life assurance, medical and

dental assurance, and 20 days’ paid holiday per year.
