Conclusioni Gli STEMI estesi ( a sede anteriore e
soprattutto quelli con coinvolgimento di > 5 derivazioni) hanno prognosi a breve termine peggiore se il tempo di ischemia e’ prolungato ( superiore a 180’ ) .
Le attuali terapie farmacologiche o di supporto meccanico non migliorano la prognosi di questi pazienti.
C’e’ bisogno di nuove strategie !
