Umbilical termination assembly unit

Our experienced team offers accurate fabrication and welding according to client requirements and industry specifications such as ISO 15614-1, ASME IX, AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, NORSOK M101 and DNV OS C401. Our authorizations cover MIG, MAG and WIG proces-ses for material thickness up to 200 mm. We handle regular steel from S355 through S690Q to 42CrMo4. Within the Stainless steel sector we process austenite steel as well as aluminum.

All of our welders are ISO 9606-1, (-2), AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6 or ASME IX certified. Welding documen-tation and processes are supervised and approved by qualified persons (IWE/IWI-C, IWS/ IWI-S or IWS).

Fabrication and welding

Excellence in technology combined with engineering competence guarantees great quality as well as eco-nomical and efficient solutions. Our design department consists of highly skilled and motivated professionals with specialist knowledge and experience in structural steelwork design. Based on customer requirements we prepare manufacturing drawings and provide specific design as well as production advices.On request, constructions will be also approved by inde-pendent classification societies, e.g. DNV GL.

Inspection and testingWe offer following non-destructive tests:

• Visual test (VT)• Magnetic particle test (MT)• Liquid penetrant test (PT)• Ultrasonic test (UT)• Radiographic test (RT)

On request we perform diverse precise stress tests, alignment and lifting tests on prototypes or ultimate steel constructions. We are highly experienced in performing load tests with weight up to 300 tons. Each test can be certified by an external certification association.

Surface treatment and coatingWe provide sandblasting and protective coatings according to the latest international standards and special customer requirements for on and offshore, subsea as well as specialized industrial applications.
