The new Steadicam Pilot is a state-of-the-art, lightweight, affordablestabilizer system designed especiallyfor the modern breed of lightweightcameras from 2 to 10 pounds (0.9 to4.5kg). Video professionals need addonly battery and camera of choice asall other required system components

are provided for normal operation.

The Steadicam Pilot is designed with alightweight Iso-Elastic Arm and ultra lowprole vest, lightweight sled with Carbon-Lite expandable post, low mass gimbal andoffers advanced features/benets with lowcost for the video professional.

The 5.8 LCD Monitor is standard andprovides good contrast from dark to lightsituations. The monitor weight and locationon the sled assures the operator perfectbalance and ease of operation. Utilizing aproven low mass gimbal, the operator hasthe ability to capture the uid movementthat only Steadicam can provide. No-toolsprecision camera stage establishes a solidbase for the camera and facilitates smoothadjustment ease from side to side plus foreand aft.

The optional SteadiStand is required forSteadicam balance and operation.

The Iso-Elastic Arm is a two-section, articulated, no-tools design that canbe adjusted while supporting the camera. With this patented, unique design,

the Steadicam operator can smoothly and effortlessly raise or lower thearm throughout its 28 inch (71cm) boom range. The Iso-Elastic arm

is also non-reactive improving vertical stability and control in alloperating conditions, from lock-offs to fast running shots over

rough terrain.

ThePilots Ultra Lightweight, LowProle Vest is designed to providecomplete comfort and functionality forextended productions and long continuousshots. No-tools adjustments make it easy toadjust on the y.

The Carbonlite expandable post and in-terface to the stage form a solid bond to

assure no jitter in the picture as the op-erator captures those unique scenes. Thestage plate is indexed so that the cameracan be removed and remounted withoutthe need to readjust the balance.

The sled boasts a true three axis gimbaland is equipped with counter weights forbalance and positionable monitor, gimbaland battery mounts. Counterweights areprovided for balance.

The Pilot sled compacts down by remov-ing the lower cross tube.
