• Thousands of dollars are spent every year promoting Utah as a vacation destination. The majority of that money is spent in advertising in other states and countries around the world.

• Tourists come to Utah and spend millions of dollars while visiting our great state. What if we were to get people who live in Utah to STAY in Utah for their vacation? We have so much to see and do! Utah residents spend millions of dollars on vacations every year. The Utah Travel Council has decided to launch an advertising campaign to try to convince Utah citizens to stay in Utah for their vacations, therefore keeping those tourist dollars in the Utah economy.

from a national park to a ski resort to a favorite restaurant. Think of places you would like to go with your family.

Choose 5 different Vacation Spots

Choose 5 different vacation spots in Utah to create an advertising campaign in PowerPoint. Be creative and think outside the box. There is more to see and do in Utah than just visiting the state and national parks and skiing. Where would you like to go? What would you like to see? Think of smaller, less popular locations that you would enjoy visiting with your family and create a campaign about those. For example, Lagoon, Hogel Zoo, Tuachan, Water Parks, Lakes or Ponds, Local Parks, etc.
