Required activities of Coasting TF (after IWG#8)

Review / define calculation methodology in detail– Review calculation concept, generic and vehicle parameters, bandwidth, …– Time resolved CO2 measurement alternatives (look at correlation exercise)– Solve: double CO2 benefit normal test operation (criteria pollutants)

Plan for additional tests to determine Coasting Time Share– Define quality criteria for drivers, road & traffic, …– Review & learn from existing coast data– Define vehicles for additional tests– Define test plan, resources and perform tests

Recommendations

Due to insufficient progress because of:– Fundamental discussions on “cycle modification”– Ongoing discussions for the correct place (WLTP Eco Inno)– No proposal met everyone's interest

… the TF is running out of time !!!Consequently a decision is required on:1. Delay Coasting deliverables in Phase 2, but keep on working2. Cancel Coasting TF and restart if/when applicable3. Keep Phase1 timing but invest more and better focused resource
