IFMIS Business ReadinessThis component’s objective is to re-engineer business processes for improved financial management.
•Business Process Reviews Finalized. Over 700 Finance, Procurement officers, Accountants trained.
•Taskforce of Policies, Legislation and Regulations report finalized.
•Draft e-procurement regulations developed.
•Consultations with CCK and Ministry of Information on digital signatures ongoing.
•Review of the Code of Regulations ongoing.
•Approval received from Government Printer to publish accountable documents from IFMIS in the interim.
•Revised BPR framework document in view of implementation
•Framework for digital signature certification developed.

This component’s objective is to develop an automated procurement process from requisition, tendering, evaluation, contract award and payment
•ToRs completed.•Procurement process of systems integrator being finalized.

Revenue to Cash/Record to Report
This component’s objective is to have auto-reconciliation of revenue and payments with automatic file generation. This component further envisions a secure interface for accurate up to date information on the government’s financial position and the production of statutory reports real time.
• Implemented FA/CM/AR modules
• Resolved seven (7) system malfunction issues.
• “Go Live” for 10 pilot ministries launched on 24th October 2011
•Approval hierarchy inbuilt into IFMIS
• Finalize CBK, KRA integration
