Hope you all enjoyed a fun Halloween weekend. This month we will focus on Farm Life and Harvest, Thankfulness and Gratitude. We have important happenings right off the bat this month!

Tomorrow, November 3, we are walking to the Hannon Library for Story time with a previous parent, Ellen Gayton. We will leave shortly after circle, at about 9:15, and return by 10:15. If you would like to walk with us, we would love to have extra hand-holders.

Wednesday and Thursday, the 4 th and 5 th , Lichen Richardson will be coming to take our school pictures. In addition to being Llewella’s amazing mama, Lichen is a professional photographer, and she does beautiful work. (She took our school photos last year, and also did my daughter’s senior portraits, which were lovely.) Lichen will take the children’s individual photos, and a group shot. Her pictures will be posted online, and you can order from the website directly. Just in time for your holiday cards!

Dan and Diane are back! They alternate Wednesday and Thursday mornings, with the hope of giving all the children a chance to sing. They are here from 11:15-11:45. They will also be joining our Stone Soup Lunch, so come early if you’d like to sing with us.

Stone Soup Celebration: Tuesday, November 24th we will have a harvest luncheon for the children before we break for Thanksgiving. We will be reading the many different versions of Stone Soup, and we will ask for vegetable donations. Look for a sign up sheet, and please join us for lunch if you are able. We will eat lunch right at noon, like always.

School Closure:

Wednesday, November 11, for Veteran’s day - and Julie’s birthday ;)

Wednesday – Friday, November 25-27, for Thanksgiving Break.

Lastly, the Parent Meeting, has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 12, from 6:00-7:00. Parents only for this one, please. We will be discussing safety procedures, and answer any questions you may have about the program.
