Victorian Government State SponsorshipEligibility List

The eligibility list identifes the migration occupations, includingspecialisations and requirements, which are currently in state-widedemand in Victoria, Australia. Proessionals and tradespeople with

an occupation on this list may be eligible to apply or ree statesponsorship in Victoria.

Skilled Sponsored (176) visa

This permanent residency visa is available to appropriately skilled and

experienced proessionals and tradespeople living outside Australia,who want to live and work anywhere in Victoria.

Skilled Regional Sponsored (475 and 487) visa

This provisional (temporary) residence visa is available to appropriately

skilled and experienced proessionals and tradespeople, who wish tolive and work in regional Victoria (outside metropolitan Melbourne).

Holders o a Skilled Regional Sponsored (475 and 487) v isa can applyor the permanent residency Skil led Regional (Residence) (887) visaater meeting minimum residency and work requirements.

All applicants for sponsorship under the Skilled RegionalSponsored (475 and 487) visa must have an offer of employment inregional Victoria in their nominated occupation.

International student graduates interested in the Skilled Sponsored(886) visa should reer to the Victorian Government State Sponsorship

How is information collected aboutoccupations on this list?

The Victorian Government undertakes research and industry

consultation to identiy occupations suitable or state visa sponsorship.

These lists are updated every twelve months, and are based on

inormation provided by the Commonwealth Department o

Education, Employment and Workplace Relations; Victorian

Government agencies; and industry representatives.

What is the selection methodology for statesponsorship applications?

To be considered or Victorian Government state sponsorship

or skilled visas, applications must:

Applications will be assessed individually. Your qualifcations,

good prospects or long-term settlement in Victoria.
