Pesticide & Residual Solvent Standards

Due to lacking federal oversight, regulations governing the testing and quality control of medicinal and recreational Cannabis sources are few and far between. Therefore, state entities are developing their own specialized testing requirements for pesticide residues and residual solvents, among other compounds. The Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) included in this brochure are designed specifically for each state’s list of pesticide residues and residual solvents. In some cases, the lists are divided and sold in separate mixes to maximize product stability and/or compound compatibility, ensuring the highest quality product with the longest usable shelf-life. In addition to pesticide residues and residual solvents, SPEX CertiPrep offers CRMs for all of the common contaminants found in medicinal and recreational Cannabis, including terpenes and heavy metals, among others.
