6. PROTECT CONSTRUCTION TO REMAIN FROM WEATHER INTRUSION, VANDALISM, AND ALL OTHERRISKS CREATED BY DEMOLITION OPERATIONS.

1. FIELD VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS ASSOCIATED WITH EXISTING CONSTRUCTION.
2. ALTERED SURFACES WITHIN CONSTRUCTION LIMITS SHALL BE PATCHED AND REPAIRED TOCONDITION THAT MATCHES THE EXISTING ADJACENT CONSTRUCTION.
3. PATCH ANY EXISTING CONSTRUCTION AS REQUIRED WHICH IS DAMAGED DUE TO THEINSTALLATION OF NEW FIXTURES, ELECTRICAL DEVICES, EQUIPMENT, OR ANY OTHER NEWCOMPONENT.
4. EXISTING WALLS THAT CONTAIN PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL OR OTHER SERVICES REQUIRINGMODIFICATION, SHALL BE CUT BACK TO THE NEAREST STUD. AFTER COMPLETION, RECONSTRUCTTO A CONDITION THAT MATCHES NEW CONSTRUCTION, FLUSH WITH ADJACENT SURFACES.SHALL BE PATCHED AND LEVELED TO MATCH THE EXISTING.
5. CONTRACTOR SHALL CHECK EXISTING FLOOR SLABS FOR LEVEL AFTER COMPLETION OFDEMOLITION WORK AND NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT OF ANY DEVIATION FROM SPECIFIEDTOLERANCES. CORRECTIVE WORK SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED PRIOR TO INSTATING NEWCONSTRUCTION.
