The Beatles

In 1960, a band formed. It consisted of Paul McCartney,

George Harrison, Stu Sutcliffe and Pete Best.

Lawrence of Arabia is the 1962 movie following the life of T.E Lawrence after WWI.

The movie starts out with Lawrence’s death cause by a motorcycle accident, and proceeds to flashbacks of his experience in the war.

The flashbacks bring him back to when he was a young intelligence officer in Cairo, where he led the Arabs into harassing the Turks and arranged a guerilla attack.

He leads his army north and joins with a British officer to gain the power of the Ottoman Empire.

The integration at Ole Miss is an event that changed the life of a fifteen year old boy. After submitting an application to The University of Mississippi, that application was neither denied, nor accepted, but ignored because of his race.

"until I was fifteen I did not know that my group was supposed to be the inferior one. Since then I have felt a personal responsibility to change the status of my group“ -James Meredith

On September 25, 1962, Meredith attempted to enter Ole Miss to only be blocked by Barnett, Mississippi’s governor.
