Aroleisasetofpermissionsthatcanbeassignedtoauser.Youcancreateyourown

rolesanduserscanhavemorethanonerole.

Drupalcomeswiththreeroles(anonymous,authenticated,andadministrator)and

OpenPublicaddstwoadditionalroles(staffandeditor).
