In order to be able to cope with the changing environment it is necessary to have some

practical experience. As the students of Business Administration we have to pass through a

series of various managerial techniques.

Every student of Master of Business Administration (Banking & Finance) at Gomal

University of Pakistan has an essential requirement to do 8-weeks internship in any of the

well-reputed business organization. The purpose of this program is to acquaint the students

with practical applications of theoretical concepts taught to them during conduct of their

MBA (Banking & Finance) program.

For this practice, I choose the National Bank of Pakistan Circular Road Branch, Dera Ismail

Khan. During my internship I worked in different sections and got some elementary

understanding of their operations and procedures. The partial work which I have done in the

bank is included in this report. Through the 8-weeks are not enough to study such a huge

financial institution.



I have touched some important parts in this report, which will the help the reader to know

about bank to some extent.

All praise to Allah, the most merciful, kind and beneficent, and the source of all knowledge,

wisdom within and beyond my comprehension. He is the only God, who can help us in

every field of life. All respect and possible tributes goes to my Holy Prophet Mohammad

I am proud to say that I am very grateful to my family whose kind prayers and cooperation
