Cut out four panels. The front panel should start out 2 7/8” wide by 11” tall. The back panel should start out 2 7/8" wide by 10” tall. Both the left and right panels should start out 2 15/16” wide by 8 3/4” tall. Mark panel names on inside. 2. Cut each side panel to shape using the dimensions found in the following pages. Cut the front and back panels to shape. Using either a compass or circle template and the dimensions provided, draw then cut out the opening for the Starflex viewing and taking lens. I round the corners at the bottom of the front and back panel to make a cleaner fit. 3. Tape together all four panels on the outside using an opaque tape. Leave about 1/16" between panels. At this point the contraption will have three hinges. Do not complete channel! 4. Add tape to the top of the channel, inside and out to avoid damage from the camera. 5. Tape the last two panels together on the outside to complete the channel. 6. You can add tape around all edges if you're concerned about damage, but it's not really necessary. NOTE! The height of this contraption is based on my macro lens, which is 130mm. You may have to modify the height to accommodate your particular camera set-up.
