Do you need a low-tech Communication System? Are you looking for something leveled to meet the needs of new and emerging learners? This is it!

To Use this Product:If you are just starting out with Core

Vocabulary and Communication Boards, start by printing and laminating page 4. The words listed on the lower half are often cited as Early Core Vocabulary. It is a great place to start.

As a student develops their skills, expand to the upper half and then, eventually, to the remaining pages.

As with any new skill, model, model, model- your student’s success with this core vocabulary board is dependent on your level of comfort. Get comfy. Be sure a student always has access to the board and that you incorporate it into your instruction.

To Print this Product:

1. Print pages 4-12 in COLOR.

2. Cut as directed on each page.

a. DO NOT CUT off the TAB!

b. DO NOT CUT OFF THE EXCESS PAPER

AT THE TOP OF THE BOARD!

3. Laminate all pages. (You can save on

lamination pouches if you put two halves

together, tab side at center and not quite

touching).

4. Cut out the laminated sections.

5. Use a three-hole punch to punch holes along

the top of each page.

6. Put pages in order with the tabs sequenced.
