Objective

• After Reading the Ugly Duckling and having a discussion about emotions the student will be

able to create a stamp of emotion that portrays a person, place or thing that evokes an emotion in him/her. Students will also be able to identify which emotion their stamp

portrays.

• Rubber Bands - Portray

• Tempura/Acrylic Paint -Stamping

• Sketchbook paper -Acrylic/Tempura Paint

• Cardboard (Practice techniques before lesson)

• Scissors -Evoke

• Glue sticks -The Emotions

• Paint Brushes

• Paper Plates Estimated Time: 90 mins

• Paper Towels

• Newspaper

– Provide bigger paintbrushes with easier grips
