The above two print advertisements have used metaphor, are thus called metaphorical advertisements because like metaphor here also similarities has been drawn from a certain object described and the product like it is life in the first advertisement for Australian zoo and as a petal in the second advertisement of Lux soap. This has been done to make the message being portrayed about the product very clear in their minds.

The above two advertisements are simile advertisement as they have used smile which is drawing comparison of the product of the company to a certain object or living being through the advertisement.

3)Metonymy

These advertisements have Pun a figure of speech , so called pun advertisements. In these it has been compared to a certain thing indirectly and also shown superior to other brands to make their brand famous.
