The systems trialed will be compared to the regularly used Carboline system and recommendation made for a path forward. The two trial coating systems were applied, together with the Carboline system, alongside each other on parallel piping. The systems were all applied using the same surface preparation and under comparable conditions. Two areas were selected for the trial, a vertical section which allows the pipe to be viewed at deck level, and an at height horizontal piping section which is more representative of the typical stainless steel piping arrangement at Shenzi. Both trial areas are on the Production Deck on the South side of the Facility. The trial areas are illustrated in the photographs below.

Shenzi Stainless Steel Coating Project; New Paint Trials

Scope

The intent of the new paint trials is to assess the performance of two alternative coating systems
