Reading and Comprehension Activity

Last Thursday, Mrs Howard was working from home in her office. Suddenly, there was a loud knock on her door. Her dog Tyson barked loudly. She got up from her desk and went to answer the door.

When she opened the door, there was a lady standing there with a big smile and a big bunch of flowers. Mrs Howard was so happy and had a big smile on her face.

The lady said ‘I have a flower delivery for Mrs Howard’. Mrs Howard said ‘oh thank you, that is lovely!’

Very excitedly, Mrs Howard looked at the card to see who had sent her flowers. The message read:

Dear Jackie, thank you for cheering us up on our zoom today. We value your friendship.

Love Leanne and Karen.

Mrs Howard was so happy. She immediately called her friends to say thank you.
