nzski offers the most flexible pass available - the nzsuperpass! This pass is included in all our Queenstown and Methven based holiday packages.

The nzsuperpass can be used to ski or board the most popular ski areas of Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt along with a number of smaller South Island ski areas.Alternatively for some time off the slopes the pass can be used towards numerous activities such as jet boating, bungy jumping or wine tasting to name only a few as well as restaurants, bars and retailers throughout the region.

Mountain TransfersIf you choose not to drive to each of the ski resorts, transfer options are available through nzski. There are two services types to Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.

Rental EquipmentIn-Town Rental Equipment with BROWNS!Everything we do is driven by our love of skiing & riding and we want to help you get the same BUZZ! We strive to be the best in the business for quality gear, local knowledge & expertise – we’ve been around since 1980! Our philosophy is to make the rental process as easy & hassle-free as possible – we literally fit the boots on your feet! We offer free delivery & collection of gear, downtown & Hilton Village locations so you can get fitted out the day before hitting the slopes, and we also have free helmets for small kids.

Hotel Pick UpAvoid the morning rush and guarantee your ride up the mountain. The hotel pick up service operates once a day collecting guests from all major hotels en-route to Coronet Peak or The Remarkables. Simply book the night prior to guarantee your seat. If your accommodation is not on the pick up route there is likely to be one close to where you are.

In Town Snow Centre (designated bus stops to Mountain Tops)A daily scheduled service from Queesntown Snow Centre to either Coronet Peak or The Remarkables, this service has minimal stops en-route to each mountain. Departing the Snow Centre to Coronet Peak - departs every 20 mins from 8am -12 noon, and to The Remarkables - departs every 20 mins from 8am - 11.30am.

Treble Cone offers a real New Zealand snow experience. Long uncrowded slopes, legendary off piste terrain and unrivalled views. To believe them you need to see them!

This expansive mountain has the longest vertical rise in the Southern Lakes with far reaching boundaries spread over two large basins. Mother Nature has taken care of the terrain sculpting fun gullies, wide faces and exciting undulating runs. The ski area covers two basins - the Saddle and Home basin. Both provide some of the best free riding in New Zealand and are famous for putting you on top of the Southern Alps with the outlook to match. Any day is a good one to explore the mountain with mates and share the challenge and excitement of new found runs, powder pockets or lips.

Treble Cone is a mountain that welcomes all snow lovers. Friendly faces and top notch service allow visitors to take control of their day and make it truly memorable. No matter what level or age you are when stepping onto the mountain our team will provide you with the skills to grow your skiing and riding, get the most enjoyment out of Treble Cone and prepare you to enjoy the snow at any resort in the world.

Cardrona Cardrona Alpine Resort is a relaxed & friendly ski area easily reached from both Wanaka and Queenstown.

At Cardrona there is something to appeal to all snow lovers. Beginners and intermediate skiers/boarders will be in paradise thanks to an abundance of wide open trails spread across three bowls, giving you plenty to explore. Those looking for a challenge will find one in ‘Arcadia’ or the ‘Tulips’ where secret powder stashes, chutes and cliff drops can be found. Cardrona Parks are freestyle heaven with three Terrain Parks and two Halfpipes. With five cafes; four quad lifts and ample terrain Cardrona is a very special resort indeed.

One Way Rentals: One way rentals between all Britz locations are available for no extra charge. Two Island Rentals: Vehicles must be taken on the ferry between Wellington and Picton. Booking Conditions

BROCHURE VALIDITY: This brochure was published in January 2012. The information was valid at the time of publication, but is subject to change without notice. Please confirm the details of your requirements with your travel agent at the time of booking. Prices valid until 30 September 2012, unless otherwise specified and are subject to change.

RESERVATIONS: Bookings can be made through licensed AFTA travel agents. They should normally be processed and confirmed within 48 hours.

PRICES: Prices are quoted in Australian dollars unless otherwise specified and are current at the time of printing. A surcharge applies to all payments made via credit card. Should the exchange rates fluctuate, or ground/airline costs increase, you will be required to pay any such increase, prior to departure. Australian Government taxes, Departure and Airport taxes not included. Prices include New Zealand GST (at 15%), Australian GST does not apply to international travel. Travel Agent Service Fees may also apply.

DEPOSIT: A non-refundable deposit of $165 per passenger will be required within 7 days of booking confirmation for all bookings.

BALANCE: The balance amount owing is due in full 30 days prior to departure, or immediately if departing within 30 days.

DOCUMENTS: Issue of travel documents will be, with best endeavours, within 21 working days of receipt of departure. During peak periods of operation, documents will be issued, based on departure dates.

CANCELLATIONS: If you cancel your booking, the amount of your deposit will not be refunded, including deposits required by suppliers. If you have paid the balance of your holiday price, suppliers may also impose

cancellation fees amounting to all or part of the total price paid. Once your holiday has commenced, you cannot cancel or obtain a refund on any component of your booking regardless of whether you use it.

REFUNDS: After departure from Australia no refunds can be made on unused services. However unused open-dated accommodation vouchers beyond the minimum purchase requirements are refundable. Refund applications must be made through your travel agent within 45 days of your return to Australia.

AMENDMENTS: If you change your holiday package and your documents need to be reissued, a $25 change fee is payable at the time of the change; plus any cancellation / change fee imposed by suppliers for any component you cancel.

INSURANCE: Newmans Holidays recommends that all passengers take out adequate travel insurance to cover cancellations, health requirements, luggage and valuables, etc.

SNOW CONDITIONS: Ski areas provide snow reports indicating conditions at the time of compiling. Newmans Holidays cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for snow conditions. No holiday can be cancelled, altered or amended, once the holiday has commenced, on the basis of snow or weather conditions. Note that from time to time one or more ski area may be closed and some ski areas may open later or close earlier in the season than indicated. This is totally outside the control of Newmans Holidays and is not grounds for any refund.

BOND: A bond may be required at some accommodation by credit card authorisation.

Excess can be reduced to NZ$250 by purchasing Chance It at an additional NZ$10 per day (NZ$1,000 and $15 per day for 18-20yr olds). Purchase Stress Free insurance to reduce your excess to NIL by paying NZ$17 a day (NZ$24 for 18-20yr olds). Bond: The excess/bond is payable by credit card only. The clients credit

card will be authorised as a bond for the total amount of the excess/deposit. If maximum cover is purchased an imprint only will be taken. Credit Card Surcharge: Visa and Mastercard will incur a 2% surcharge and American Express will incur a 4% surcharge. Cancellation Policy: If a booking is cancelled within 5-2 days before the start of the hire a 20% fee applies. If the booking is cancelled on the day of pick up no refund applies. JUCY HIRE CONDITIONS:

All Drive and Ski Holiday prices listed in the pricing grids include rental of the following vehicle sizes: For up to 4 people – Compact Manual. 5-6 people – Premium Van. Prices are fully inclusive of: Unlimited kilometres; Free Ski Racks and Snow Chains for Compact Manual. Charges apply to Premium Van. Racks and Chains must be requested at time of booking; 24hr onsite Airport pick up; Standard Vehicle Insurance (excess applies); Avis Cares 24hr emergency road side assistance (Provided free to the customer in the event of all mechanical vehicle faults. Fees apply for all other Avis Cares emergency road side assistance call outs including refuelling, jump start, lost keys, keys locked in vehicle and type changing where the customer is ‘at fault’); Avis $aver discount book. #Earlybird Free day not valid on Premium Van. Drivers: All drivers must be 21 years of age or over and carry a current non-probationary drivers licence that has been held for longer than 12 months. There is no maximum age for hiring a car in New Zealand. Additional Drivers: There is no charge for

additional drivers. Airport/Wharf Fees: A one off fee of NZ$35 + GST is payable on all rentals picked up or dropped off at an airport or ferry terminal, payable directly to Avis Rent a Car. Two Island Rentals: If your holiday includes both the North and South Islands, simply leave your vehicle at either Wellington or Picton ferry terminals and collect a replacement vehicle upon arrival, saving you $163. Your hire will be considered continuous if your replacement vehicle is collected within 5 hours and you have met the minimum hire requirements for each island. 5 days notice of your ferry crossing date and time is also required. Country locations: A remote location surcharge of NZ$50 + GST will apply to rentals commencing in Greymouth, Hokitika, Westport and Gisborne on all vehicles. Insurance Excess: Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance is included in your daily rates. However

in the event of damage to the vehicle or third party, the customer is liable for an excess of NZ$3000 + GST for Compact Manual and NZ$3750 + GST for the Premium Van. Purchasing Excess Reduction Insurance from and Avis counter will reduce the excess/bond. Your options are: Compact Manual NZ$24 + GST per day, Premium Van NZ$27 + GST per day, reduces the excess to NZ$225 + GST Vehicle Security: All rentals require a NZ$150 Petrol Security Bond to be paid at the commencement of hire.
