VBS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Week of June 26-29

The Board of Education is looking for volunteers to help with Vacation Bible School which is set for Monday — Thursday, June 26th through June 29th, 9:00am-noon.

These are the areas we need help with and supplies we need:

1. A storyteller for Thurs., June 29 (materials provided). 2. Teens to help with preschool. 3. We need permanent markers. If you can donate some,

please bring them to church by Sunday, June 25 and place in a designated basket in the narthex.

Time slots are available to help as well as the entire morning. Any time you can volunteer will be much appreciated! If you are able to volunteer, please contact Julie Schultz at 248.622.9114 or email her at sttrinityps@comcast.net. All volunteers need to have a background check done. Please fill out a background check form found on the podium in the narthex and place it in the Board of Ed mailbox in the church office. Jesus, the perfect steward, gave thanks, just before He gave Himself to us completely for our salvation. He offers us the chance to drink from His cup. In the Eucharist, we meet Christ personally and, if we listen to Him, we know what drinking from His cup means for each of us to do His work on earth.

Board of Human Care VA Hospital Collection Drive

Now — September

The Board of Human Care is now collecting trial-size personal hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and denture-cleaning tablets, in addition to writing supplies such as pens, pencils, and notebooks for the VA Hospital. Please no books and no magazines. There is a box in the coat room for your donated items. Thank you for your support!

We are in need of summer Sunday School teachers. A sign up sheet is on the podium in the narthex. Materials are provided. All volunteers need to have a background check done. YOUTH CONFIRMATION CLASS Confirmation is for students in 6th-8th grades. Confirmation classes have concluded until September. RETIRED MEN’S BIBLE STUDY Leader: Karl Schneider. Meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 9:30am-11:00 am. We meet again on June 20th.

LADIES’ BIBLE CLASS Meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 9:30-11:00am and we will be starting a study of “I, II, III John”. We meet again on June 20th .

WOMEN’S BIBLE CLASS We will be starting a study by Sarah Young called “Receiving Christ’s Hope” at our next meeting. We meet the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month at 9:30 am. Next class is June 28th.

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY Meets Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm in the Family Life classrooms from October-April. Class will resume in the fall.

LADIES’ LIFELIGHT BIBLE CLASS Meets Tuesday evenings from mid-September to mid-May at 7:00 pm in the FLC classrooms. Class will resume in the fall.

SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDIES Meets at members homes the 4th Friday of the month from 7-9 pm. We are now doing the study, “Crazy Love”.

QUILT MAKERS The St. Trinity quilting group make quilts for Lutheran World Relief and American Veterans. We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1-3 pm. We meet again on June 20th. See Annette Ashley for more information.

KNITTING GROUP Currently knitters are regrouping and planning their schedule for this year. We will have more information soon. For questions, speak with Carol Koenig or Judy Spresney.

Other Fellowship Opportunities

PASTOR’S BIBLE STUDY meets in the FLC classrooms every Sunday morning. We are currently doing a study of Romans.

ADULT BIBLE CLASSES

What am I doing with my time? Simple question or easy answer? It’s time you found out. In the current study “Time of Your Life,” Andy Stanley will help you discover the answer.

An in-depth study of The Book of Romans, led by Phyllis Solmen, will start in September, and will meet in the L-Room .

CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday School is for Grades Preschool through 5th Grade. Join us in the Fellowship Hall every Sunday morning at 9:45 am.

JUNIOR HIGH BIBLE STUDY Grades 6th–8th grade. Meets in the Fellowship Hall throughout the school year.

SENIOR HIGH BIBLE STUDY Grades 9th-12th. Meets in the “Grace Haven” room.

Youth & Family Life Activities

Family Fun & Fellowship—Friday, July 7th at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall/Youth Rooms.
