work for SVDP Society through their

program. The program offers part-

time paid work experience for 55 and

older individuals who have limited income. Eligibility is

based on age and total family income, and most-in-need

characteristics.

Those who are veterans, over age of 65, and documented

most-in-need are given preference for selection.

Pre-applications are being taken each Tuesday from 1p.m.

to 3p.m. . In SVDP food pantry

I can say with little doubt that this has been the most

spectacular VBS that our parish has hosted, and judging

by the response from our community it seems that

sentiment isn’t limited to just me.

When I first took over as VBS Director three years ago I

would not have thought that St. Rose could put on such a

production, but by the grace of God and with the support

of our parish community

anything is possible.

As always, it’s been a

privilege serving as your

Vacation Bible School

Director.

PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Be our defense against the wickedness

and snares of the Devil.

May God rebuke him,

we humbly pray, and do thou,

O Prince of the heavenly hosts,

by the power of God,

thrust into hell Satan,

and all the evil spirits,

who prowl about the world

seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
