It’s been a real privilege to run the Spear course out of the St Paul’s Centre. It’s not only an inspirational place for young people from the local area to come and find help as they move into employment, but also a great space to work from, with an amazing café!

Introduction
St Paul’s Hammersmith is an excellent
and unique place to host conferences,
meetings and events in the heart of
Hammersmith
St Paul’s Church, built in the early 1880’s, is a grand and
impressive landmark in the centre of Hammersmith. In
2011 the Church opened its modern and spacious western
extension, The St Paul’s Centre. St Paul’s Hammersmith
offer a unique mix of a modern venue complemented by
the grand traditions and architecture of a church. With a range of individual and well-designed rooms available
we are truly a versatile conference and event venue for up to 1,000 guests.
Conferences, Meetings and Events
From the large open space of the main church to well-proportioned modern meeting rooms, St Paul’s
Hammersmith is an ideal venue for conferences. The Church and Centre are both equipped with a range of
audio visual equipment and complementary WiFi.
The St Paul’s Centre houses the majority of our meeting rooms. The Centre’s rooms are able to accommodate
smaller meetings for 2 to 100 people.
This is a truly unique venue that will impress your guests and create the perfect atmosphere for your event.
Weddings
Our beautiful building is a perfect environment for weddings. We have a detailed brochure available for
people planning weddings; if you would like to receive this please request one by emailing [email protected]
About us
St Paul’s Hammersmith has an amazing past. Organised worship has been happening on the site since 1629
and the history is rich and surprising. The Centre part of the latest chapter and we are excited about you being
a part of it too.
The new chapter began in early 2000 when 180 people came from Holy Trinity Brompton with Revd. Simon
Downham to join an existing small congregation in rebuilding the life and mission of the church. The team
were challenged by the Bishop of London to re-imagine the local church. What might it mean to be a
transforming community for the city? Over the last 10 years, physically and spiritually, the church and its
building have been comprehensively restored inside and out.
The launch of the St Paul's Centre extension in late 2011 marks the closing of one chapter and the opening of
another. St Paul's has become home to diverse community initiatives, radical social reformation, a large
children and families ministry, and a passionate commitment to the worship of God and the proclamation of
Jesus Christ and his Kingdom.
The income from hiring our building is invested into the mission of the church and enables us to better serve
our community.
