St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyhaunis Christmas Masses W ith Christmas fast approaching, and due to the fact that our congregations are still restricted to fifty persons, the Parish Pastoral Council recently discussed and agreed on a programme of Masses for Christmas week. Our congregations at Christmas are usually very large and there is no way that we can possibly cater for everyone who might normally attend Mass in person at this time of year. It is also anticipated that there will be a surge in the numbers of those testing positive with the Covid 19 virus over Christmas. For that reason we advise those of you who might feel in any way vulnerable to infection that you continue to join us on Parish Radio (105.2) and the Webcam: https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-patricks-church-ballyhaunis Mass times: Mon. 21st, Tues 22nd, Wed 23rd: 10.00am & 7.30pm Thurs. 24th, Christmas Eve: 10.00am & 9.00pm 6.00pm Family Mass (not open to general public) Please note: Some representative members of this year’s Confirmation class and their parents will be in attendance at this Mass. A ‘Family Pack’ including a candle, Prayer card and straw from the Christmas crib will be distributed via Scoil Íosa. We are encouraging families, and anyone else who wishes, to create a ‘Sacred Space’ in your home and join us for this Mass on the parish radio or Webcam. This Mass will not be open to the general public to attend in person. Friday 25th, Christmas Day: 8.00am 10.00am (this will be broadcast on Midwest Radio) 12.00 noon Sat. 26th, St. Stephen’s Day: 12.00 noon & 7.30pm Sunday 27th December: 10.00am & 12 noon Confessions: Individual Confessions on Sunday, December 20th from 2-5pm in the Church.
